With only five goals on the year, Eberle hasn't lived up to the 30-goal projection many placed on him this season, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been productive because he also has 11 helpers. The 23-year-old has the ability to reel off some impressive games and put goals on the board in bunches, so don't get down on him this early. David Perron, Ales Hemsky and Boyd Gordon (empty net) also scored in the win.

The Philadelphia Flyers are reportedly interested in acquiring Jordan Eberle. Philadelphia's offense has been practically non-existent this season, so it's not surprising that they would be willing to trade for a capable forward despite the core they already have in place. Would the Oilers go for such a trade though? Probably not, but given Edmonton's ongoing struggles, you can't completely rule anything out. They want to prove they're ready to compete and adding veteran leadership, something the Flyers could provide, would be one way to go. Having said that, we would still be surprised if Eberle ends up being dealt.
