Bernier stopped 23 of 25 shots in Monday's win over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
That's now three wins in the last four starts for Bernier, having allowed two or fewer goals in all of them. Since trading away James Reimer, Toronto has essentially split starts between Bernier and Garrett Sparks, but the 27-year-old is going through one of his better stretches of the season and could be worth a look when called upon.

Bernier will return to the Toronto net Monday after giving way to Garret Sparks in Saturday's 4-1 win over Buffalo, the Leafs' third victory in four contests.

Bernier gave up two fluky goals on 30 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Florida.
EDGE Analysis
A pair of empty-netters rounded out the final score, but won't hurt Bernier's stats in most formats. The bright side of this loss is that Bernier turned in another outstanding outing, as the two goals that beat him were both bizarre deflections off his own teammates. Honestly, it rather looked like they were playing against him. But that'll happen when you're playing behind a Toronto squad that's full of AHL call-ups. Despite those extenuating circumstances, Bernier's only given up three total goals while starting the Leafs' last three games.

Bernier will get the start in goal in Thursday's home game against the Panthers, Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bernier has been on fire of late, posting a 2-0-0 record with an unbelievable 0.50 GAA and .985 save percentage in his last two outings. The 27-year-old netminder will look to pick up a third consecutive win Thursday in a tough home matchup with a hot Florida club that has won three of its last four games. scoring at least four goals in each of those victories.

Bernier made 26 saves in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
He wasn't beaten until the 6:33 mark of the third, snapping a shutout streak of 108 minutes and 48 seconds. Bernier is actually 3-3 in his last six starts, but it's been an all-or-nothing effort. Those three wins include just two goals allowed. The three losses? Ten goals slipped past him. Bernier is still to far too unpredictable to put into your blue paint. Use with caution.

Bernier will draw the start Tuesday against Tampa Bay, James Mirtle of The Globe and Mail reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the horrendously poor season Bernier's had, he's somehow found time to accumulate three shutouts among his eight wins, including Sunday's 1-0 victory over the Red Wings. It's on the strength of that outing that he gets Tuesday's start. The Bolts are coming off a Sunday shutout victory of their own and sit in the top half of the NHL's offensive rankings, but more to the point, it's simply difficult to trust Bernier on a game-to-game basis. He's faced the Lightning twice this year, giving up five goals the first time and just one the second -- both losses.

Bernier made 38 saves in Sunday's 1-0 win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
It was his 12th career shutout, but just his second win in 11 starts since January 9. Bernier hasn't been coach Mike Babcock's favorite player this season and we don't know if he'll get anything more than a platoon role in Hogtown next season. But he'll savor Sunday. Job well done, Bernie.

Bernier will guard the blue paint Sunday against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Bernier appears to have fallen behind Garret Sparks in the pecking order, but a back-to-back set Saturday and Sunday has resulted in another opportunity for him in goal. The veteran hasn't been great either at home or on the road this season, carrying a 4-12-1 away record into Sunday's matchup in Detroit. Considering the plethora of Toronto injuries and the team's current stretch (losing seven of the last eight), it may be best to avoid the netminder both in season-long and daily contests.

Bernier made 28 saves in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Bernie is 1-8 since Jan. 8 and that's not about to get much better, what with such a young squad in front of him. Bernier did deliver several solid saves, but he needs to be near perfect right now. And he's not. Avoid him.

Bernier will start in goal Saturday, facing the Senators in front of the home fans, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bernier's been awful this season; there's simply no other way to put it. His save percentage of .897 is second only to Jonas Hiller of Calgary for the worst rate in the NHL. It will be easy to find alternatives on an 11-game slate.
