John Gibson is one of three returning members named to the United States Junior team. Gibson will be joined by J.T. Miller and Jacob Trouba from last year's disappointing seventh place team and they will try to redeem themselves in Ufa, Russia. Two draft eligible players made the team, Seth Jones and Ryan Hartman while Cole Bardreau made the team despite being undrafted last season.

John Gibson has a 2.13 GAA and .934 save percentage in 19 OHL games this season. Gibson was taken by the Anaheim Ducks with the 39th overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He's been chosen to take part in Team USA's selection camp.

John Gibson had 33 stops in Kitchener's 4-1 win over Windsor Thursday. The victory was his 13th of the season. The Anaheim second-round draft pick will take part in Team USA's selection camp for the World Junior Championship, which starts at the end of the week.

John Gibson has been selected to compete for a spot on the United States' roster for the 2013 World Junior Championship. Gibson made Team USA last year and served primarily as Jack Campbell's understudy. Gibson has a 2.20 GAA and .932 save percentage in 18 OHL games in 2012-13.

John Gibson has been selected as the Canadian Hockey League goaltender of the week. Gibson had a 2-0-0-0 record, 0.96 GAA, and .964 save percentage with the Kitchener Rangers last week. He was taken by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round of the 2011 Entry Draft. He signed with the Ducks in March, but he is still probably years away from playing in the NHL.

The Anaheim Ducks have signed goaltender John Gibson to a three-year/entry level contract. The Ducks took Gibson in the second round of the 2011 Entry Draft, 39th overall. He is playing for the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL this season after deciding in the off-season to reject a scholarship with the University of Michigan. Gibson is 20-10-3 for Kitchener with a 2.81 GAA and a .926 save percentage. He is still a few years away from playing in the NHL.
