Gibson surrendered three goals on 26 shots as his Ducks fell 3-0 to the Avalanche on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was outplayed by Colorado counterpart Semyon Varlamov, who parried away all 37 Anaheim shots for the shutout. The young American had a streak of consecutive starts giving up two or less goals broken at six, but he should be fine moving forward considering this was his first regulation loss in over a month.

Gibson will be in the crease in Wednesday's road game against the Avalanche, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson was fantastic in his last start, stopping 31 of 32 shots, but ultimately suffered a 2-1 overtime loss to Washington on Monday, snapping his four-game winning streak. The 22-year-old netminder will look to pick up his 17th win of the season Wednesday in a decent road matchup with a Colorado club that has won two of its last three games, potting three goals in each of those victories.

Gibson turned aside 31 of 32 shots but fell in a shootout Monday against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Facing the league's highest scoring team, Gibson stood on his head for most of the outing, but he was matched at the other end by Vezina Trophy frontrunner Braden Holtby. The 22-year-old has been terrific when called upon lately, allowing two or fewer goals in six consecutive starts, as he aims to create some separation from Frederik Andersen on the depth chart.

Gibson stopped 25 of 27 shots against the Canadiens on Wednesday en route to his fourth straight win.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has had to split time with Frederik Andersen during Anaheim's nine-game winning streak, but both have been terrific options whenever they man the crease of late. It's encouraging to see that the young goaltender has been called upon to start in each of the Ducks' last two games, as his slightly better numbers suggest he deserves the majority of work in the Anaheim crease.

Gibson will man the crease Wednesday against the Canadiens, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson continues to post rock solid outings between the pipes, earning his 15th victory of the campaign Sunday against the Kings by stopping 27 of the 29 shots that came his way. The youngster's yet to face Montreal this year, but owns a 1.91 GAA and .926 save percentage at home this season. Combining that with an opposing Canadiens club that shipped out multiple bodies at the trade deadline, Gibson becomes an attractive option again Wednesday in both season-long and daily formats.

Gibson stopped 27 of 29 shots in Sunday's win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has been terrific when called upon on late, picking up wins in each of his last three starts and advancing his save percentage to .918 on the season. The 22-year-old now owns a 4-1-0 record against the Kings in his career and continues to show he can deliver in big games. Considering the Ducks have won eight straight games, Gibson, who owns a 15-8-2 record on the season, is a very safe fantasy option right now whenever he gets the nod.

Gibson will be in net when the Ducks face the Kings on Sunday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gibson has been pretty solid in his last three appearances after allowing six goals in a very rocky game against the Penguins on Feb. 8. He's 2-0-0 in those three games, with a 1.88 GAA and .919 save percentage. The 22-year-old will have his work cut out for him as the Kings and Ducks battle for the top seed in the Pacific Division. Gibson has amassed a 3-1-0 record against the Kings in his career, so he's in a good spot to keep the Ducks' seven-game win streak alive.

Gibson has been pegged as Sunday's starter for the Ducks against Flames, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
At just 22-year-old, Gibson continues to prove he belongs in the NHL ranks, stopping 19 of the 21 shots he faced against the Canucks in his return from an upper-body injury Thursday. He'll get the call for a second straight game Sunday, in a tough matchup against a Flames club ranking third in the league in scoring this month (3.44 goals per game).
