Larsson (undisclosed) did not travel with the team to face the Flyers on Thursday, John Vogl of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Larsson is still considered day-to-day and could rejoin the lineup Friday against Montreal according to coach Dan Bylsma. The center was fantastic last season in the AHL where he tallied 40 points in 44 games, but has failed to transition that productivity into the NHL, as he's netted a meager two goals and four helpers in 50 contests. Even when the 23-year-old gets healthy, he is not going to offer much in terms of fantasy value.

Larsson (undisclosed) missed practice on Wednesday, but could play on Thursday, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Larsson missed Tuesday's game with this undisclosed injury, but could play on Thursday. He has two goals and four assists in 50 games this season while logging 13:58 of ice time per game. The former second-round pick has yet to hit his offensive stride in the NHL, but at just 23, still has time to improve.

Larsson (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision Tuesday against Florida.
EDGE Analysis
Larsson "tweaked something," but there are no further details beyond that. It's unknown how long Larsson will be out for, but head coach Dan Bylsma indicated that he will dress seven defensemen if need be. Larsson has carved out a depth role for the Sabres recently but has just six points in 50 games this season despite showing he can be a team-leading scorer in the AHL.

Larsson scored the game-winning goal in Buffalo's 2-1 win over Detroit on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
It took 28 games for Larsson to score his first goal, no doubt a relief. After a slew of injuries hit the team last year, Larsson was called up to the Sabres and was their best player down the stretch scoring 14 points in 20 games. He has just four points this season and is still struggling to find a role on the team. Until he finds his game, he's best left on the waiver wire for fantasy owners.

Larsson will not play Tuesday against Detroit, reports John Vogl of The Buffalo News.
EDGE Analysis
Despite proving that he can score consistently at the AHL level and going on a hot streak to finish the 2014-15 season, Larsson has struggled through 21 games, scoring just three assists. The versatile Swedish forward just can't seem to maintain a grip on a roster spot, and played just 6:37 against Nashville on Nov. 25 before sitting the next two games. His upside isn't worth the risk right now in fantasy.

Larsson notched his first two points of the season Tuesday, picking up two assists (one on the power play) to go with a plus-2 rating in an overtime victory against the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Considering the offensive touch Larsson's shown in the AHL -- including 40 points in 44 games last year -- it shouldn't come as a surprise that he has this in him, but Larsson has seem very inconsistent ice time early on this year. However, Tuesday's 22 shifts for 15:23 represents his greatest usage this season, and it seems likely that the Sabres will give him a little more run in an expanded role -- including continued time on the second line alongside Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart -- to see if he can build on this performance.

Larsson will take David Legwand's place against Toronto, reports Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald.
EDGE Analysis
Larsson will slot into the fourth line. He seems to produce more when he's playing with scoring wingers, but that won't be the case here, and it's unlikely he'll receive substantial ice time. Larsson was publicly displeased about the way he was used early last year, and it's the same story again so far this season. He has been held without a point for four straight games.

Larsson was a healthy scratch in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Larsson sat for the first time as a healthy scratch this season, repeating a similar theme from last year. Though he finished the previous season on a high note with 13 points in his final 19 games, he failed to establish himself in a scoring role during the preseason. The versatile forward looks like he will be the Sabres' extra man on most nights.

Head coach Dan Bylsma has promoted Johan Larsson to the fourth line after being impressed with his strong, two-way game, reports The Buffalo News.
EDGE Analysis
Larsson skated between Nicolas Deslauriers and Marcus Foligno at Thursday's skate, moving ahead of David Legwand on the depth chart. Larsson had a rough start to the season last year but after a slew of injuries to the regulars, moved up to the top line where he finished with 13 points in 17 games. Buffalo's acquisition of Ryan O'Reilly and Jack Eichel bumped Larsson back down the depth chart, but his strong play is turning heads. His versatility is an added bonus, having played all three forward positions, and with more strong performances at camp, he should find a spot in the lineup on Opening Night. How much he produces will depend on which line he ends up and what kind of role he plays, which makes him a wait-and-see fantasy player.

Larsson will center William Carrier and Nick Baptiste in training camp, reports John Vogl of The Buffalo News.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a strong finish to the season as the Sabres' No. 1 center the previous season, it looks like Larsson is on the outside looking in again. Neither Carrier nor Baptiste is expected to make the team on what can be described best as the team's fifth line. Ryan O'Reilly, Jack Eichel, David Legwand and Sam Reinhart are the team's top four centers so far. Larsson's fantasy value takes a hit as he begins camp as a depth center.
