Joey MacDonald notched 23 saves in Calgary's 5-4 win over the Coyotes on Sunday night. MacDonald wasn't all that great in this one, but he did enough to keep his team in the game. He has filled in admirably with Miikka Kiprusoff (knee) on the shelf. The 33-year-old has a 2.85 goals-against average and .901 save percentage on the season.

Saturday, it was Jason Zucker, who, taking a shortcut through MacDonald's crease, had knocked out the right leg of the netminder. In both cases, MacDonald was shaken up and the intruders were penalized with minors.
