Hayes and Olsen are big parts of the Chicago future but may not see any action in the playoffs unless the Blackhawks go deep and have some injuries.

"It's misfortune for (Sharp), but if we go out there and keep working, good things will happen."

"He had a great first shift and he still had presence," coach Joel Quenneville said Friday night. "He had good physicality, strength with the puck and he was dangerous around the net. He didn't play a ton but it was a good first game for him." Hayes had five goals and 18 points in 28 games with Rockford of the AHL this season so while he may be valuable with his hits and blocked shots, he does not have a lot of fantasy value in traditional pools.
