Pageau continues to do wonderful things for an otherwise lackluster offense. The Ottawa native has 15 goals and 21 points through 28 games this season. His career highs are 19 goals and 43 points, both set in 2015-16. Even more impressive, Pageau owns a plus-19 rating this year.

Pageau scored his 14th goal of the season in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Flames.

He fired a shot over David Rittich's shoulder midway through the third period to tie the score, only for Calgary to re-take the lead 61 seconds later. Pageau had gone four games without lighting the lamp coming into Saturday, which remarkably was his longest drought of the season, and on the year he's now up to 20 points in 27 games.

Pageau scored his 13th goal of the season during a 2-1 overtime win versus the Canadiens on Wednesday.

Pageau is tied for fifth in the league with 13 goals this season and has found the back of the net five times in the last five games, including a hat trick Nov. 13. With 17 points in 22 games, Pageau is on pace to surpass his career-best 43-point campaign from 2015-16.

Pageau scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal with 2:01 left in the third period, the completed the win and the hat trick with an empty-netter with 26 seconds remaining. All three of his goals came at even strength and gave him a team-leading 11 goals on the season. He's also Ottawa's points leader with 15 in 18 games. Pageau has been red-hot in the month of November, putting up eight goals and nine points in seven games.

Pageau scored the overtime winner in a 3-2 win over the Kings on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

Four goals in three games, that's the roll Pageau has been on as of late, as the Senator' forward also has five points in his last four games. For the season, Pageau has collected 11 points in 15 contests but has yet to find the scoresheet with the man advantage.

Pageau scored twice on three shots and had two PIM in a 6-2 win over the Rangers on Monday. He also had a plus-3 rating.

EDGE Analysis

Pageau's second tally was a beauty, blocking a shot in the defensive zone and turning it into a breakaway goal to put the Sens up 4-1 midway through the second period. Earlier he knocked home a rebound to get Ottawa on the board late in the first frame. It was the first two-goal game of the year for the 25-year-old, who has five goals and eight points in 13 games.

Pageau scored a short-handed goal on three shots and was plus-2 in a 5-2 win over the Red Wings on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Pageau snapped a 2-2 tie at 5:27 of the third period when he caused a turnover at his own blueline and scored on a partial breakaway to put the Sens up to stay. The 26-year-old is off to a productive start to the 2019-20 season, scoring three goals and six points in nine games with a plus-8 rating. Injuries limited him to four goals in 39 games a year ago, but a healthy Pageau should be good for around 15 goals and 30-plus points.

Pageau scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Golden Knights.

EDGE Analysis

Pageau knotted the game at 2-2 just 4:25 into the third period and has found the net in two of his last three games. He's off to a nice start overall this season with five points and a plus-3 rating in his first six games. He's reached the scoresheet in four of those six games and should be able to provide double-digit goals if he can stay healthy for a full season. He was limited to 39 games (and four goals) a year ago.

Pageau scored a goal, picked up an assist and got a fighting major in Saturday's 4-2 win over Tampa Bay.

EDGE Analysis

Where did that come from? A Gordie Howe hat trick for a guy not known for aggression. Then again, he took on little Brayden Point. Pageau doesn't have huge upside, but he did score 43 points a few years ago. He'll be given plenty of opportunity in Ottawa this season and could challenge that total, especially if Saturday's chemistry with newcomer Vladislav Namestnikov is real.
