Slumping Jaromir Jagr has been battling flu. Jagr, who turns 40 on Wednesday, has been among a number of slumping Flyers lately with one goal in his last 16 games. Jagr was bothered with a groin injury on the front end of that slump and reveals that the flu has also been a factor.

Jaromir Jagr would love to help Claude Giroux win a league scoring crown. Jagr, who collected five Art Ross Trophies with four of them in consecutive years, said it would feel as though he won the award if indeed Giroux ends up as the league's top scorer. If Giroux wins the title -- he entered play Tuesday second with 55 points -- then he would be the first Flyer to do so.
