Chychrun (undisclosed) is in the lineup for Saturday's home matchup with the Islanders, Craig Morgan of AZSports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chychrun exited Friday's contest after taking a hit from Ducks' forward Nick Ritchie but it was apparently not severe enough to keep him from missing a start. The No. 16 overall pick in the 2016 draft averages 16:21 of ice time and has tallied just seven points over 30 games this season so remains largely irrelevant in most fantasy formats.

Chychrun was shaken up after a hit by Ducks forward Nick Ritchie in Friday's road game.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie defenseman headed to the training room with 8:24 left in the third period and was still missing late in a game headed for bonus hockey. Arizona should shed more light on his status after the contest, and certainly before Saturday's home showdown with the Islanders.

Chychrun (upper body) will slot back into the lineup against Dallas on Tuesday, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chychrun will be back on the ice after a one-game absence. Considering the Yotes' struggles, fantasy owners will want to find the diamond in the rough on this team. With a mere six points in 26 contests, that description does not exactly fit the 18-year-old.

Chychrun is dealing with an upper-body injury that will prevent him from suiting up against the Maple Leafs on Friday night, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The heralded rookie defenseman defied the odds and made the Coyotes out of training camp as a first-round (16th overall) selection in this year's draft. His offensive game is evolving - six points in 26 games -- though Chychrun does have 43 hits and 39 blocked shots this season. Look for Alex Goligoski and Kevin Connauton to round out the bottom four on the back line with the American-born Chychrun unavailable for the final game before a holiday break.

Chychrun recorded an assist in Friday's win over Arizona to extend his point streak to three games.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie continues to make a strong case that he's ready for full-time duty in the NHL. He owns tremendous skating ability, and with a goal and two helpers through three games, Chychrun might soon need to be taken more seriously in fantasy circles. For now, though, you'll likely want to leave him to deep leagues because his supporting statistics (four shots, six hits and three blocked shots) are barely moving the needle. Plus, he's averaging just 16:15 per night with no power-play time.

Chychrun scored his first NHL goal during Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Chychrun has now notched points in both games he's played this season. The 18-year-old may jump between the AHL and the Coyotes this season, but he's flashed full-time NHL potential in limited opportunity.

Chychrun made the 23-man roster to begin the season.
EDGE Analysis
The 16th overall selection in this year's draft had an excellent training camp and owns the skating ability to hold his own at the highest level. However, the Coyotes still might opt to return Chychrun to the Ontario Hockey League after a nine-game trial to avoid burning a year of his entry-level contract. A rookie defenseman that's low on the depth chart of a potentially weak team isn't typically the setup for fantasy success, but Chychrun remains an intriguing talent, especially in dynasty formats.

Chychrun continues to turn heads in training camp. He recorded two PIM, three hits, and two blocked shots in a team-high 25:21 of ice time Wednesday, though the Coyotes lost to the Flames in overtime, 2-1.
EDGE Analysis
As noted by TSN's Bob McKenzie, Chychrun, the Coyotes' 16th overall pick in this year's draft, is drawing rave reviews ahead of the 2016-17 season. The burly rearguard has consistently garnered top-pairing minutes in exhibition while playing alongside Connor Murphy. Some scouts say he needs to improve his defense, but this latest report indicates that Chychrun is likely to make the Opening Night roster. Assuming that holds true, the highly touted prospect will be able to play up to nine regular-season games with the parent club before general manager John Chayka would have to decide whether he wants to activate the first year of Chychrun's contract or send him back to juniors. He's worth a speculative stash in redraft leagues and should already be highly owned in dynasty formats.
