Chychrun (knee) is listed on injured reserve, TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
A promising defenseman -- who cracked the Opening Night roster with the 'Yotes as a rookie this time last year -- Chychrun continues to work his way back from knee surgery as performed in early August. Coming off a seasonal output of seven goals and 13 assists in 68 games, the Florida native could be worth a look in fantasy leagues as soon as he's ready to suit back up; trouble is, no one knows exactly when that'll be.

According to general manager John Chayka, Chychrun (knee) is still "a few weeks away from skating," Craig Morgan of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 2016 first-round pick underwent knee surgery in early August that would have ended most players' seasons, but he's determined to return to the Coyotes' lineup before the 2017-18 campaign comes to an end. The American blueliner flashed a ton of potential during his rookie season last year, notching 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) in 68 games despite averaging just 31 seconds of power-play time per contest. Chychrun can probably be passed over in re-draft leagues, but he's definitely worth a stash in keeper formats.

Chychrun (knee) likely will return at some point in the 2017-18 season, according to Coyotes head coach Rick Tocchet.
EDGE Analysis
The 'Yotes don't have an exact timetable for the highly touted defenseman's return, and a previous report indicated that they won't have another update on his condition until training camp begins Sep. 14. However, the good news is that his surgery was deemed successful and Tocchet sounds rather optimistic about Chychrun's eventual prognosis. "He's just a beast," he said. "If this happened to somebody else, you might have a guy who's out for the year. I don't know the timeframe (for his recovery), but it's not for the year. It's something that he's going to bounce back (from). He's an animal. It's almost like we've got to crank this kid down a little bit."

Chychrun's knee surgery from Thursday has been deemed a success, though the Coyotes will not have another update on his condition until training camp begins Sept. 14.
EDGE Analysis
The Florida native defied the odds by cracking the Opening Night roster for the 'Yotes in 2016, his draft year. As the 16th overall selection, Chychrun acquainted himself with the parent club rather quickly, having recorded a point in the first three games. He's a mobile puck-pusher from the blue line and has adequate size at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, so there's reason to believe that Chychrun could improve upon his 20 points and minus-14 rating over 68 games as a rookie. Still, we'll have to wait to see what kind of return timeline he's looking at in order to fairly gauge where he may be taken in fantasy drafts.

Chychrun is out indefinitely after having knee surgery Thursday
EDGE Analysis
The team did not release details regarding the nature of the injury, stating only that Chychrun is expected to make a full recovery. It is unclear whether the blueliner will be available for the start of the 2017-18 season -- Arizona will provide an update once training camp kicks off on Sept. 14.

Chychrun went five-hole on Red Wings goalie Petr Mrazek during regulation in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss.
EDGE Analysis
Chychrun is the NHL's youngest player at 18 years old. He was in the 2016 draft class, hearing his name called with the 16th overall pick. While growing pains were expected along the way, not enough can be said about how the defenseman has been a mainstay in the Arizona lineup. Better yet, he's garnered close to 1:30 on the power play in eight games this month. Keep an eye on the American-born skater for dynasty-keeper purposes.

Chychrun posted a goal, two assists, a plus-1 rating, two blocked shots and a hit in Saturday's 5-4 win against the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
The points were the first over five games in the month of March. He has managed three goals and six points across the past 10 outings but he needs to show a little more consistency before he can seriously be used outside of the very deepest fantasy pools.

Chychrun is expected to be a healthy scratch against Calgary on Monday, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the second consecutive game Chychrun has watched from the press box. The rookie has flashed excellent offensive upside and held his own for most the of campaign, especially considering he's on a basement-dwelling club. However, it'll likely be another season or two before he's a reliable fantasy asset in most leagues. His ownership should be limited to deep keeper/dynasty settings at this stage of his career.

Chychrun dished out a pair of assists in a 3-2 overtime win over the visiting Panthers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The rearguard has produced 11 points in 38 games this season, but four of those have come in the last four games. That said, those in daily contests may want to roll with Chychrun while he's hot, while others in seasonal formats should keep an eye on the 2016 first-rounder as he continues to adjust to life in the NHL.

Chychrun (undisclosed) is in the lineup for Saturday's home matchup with the Islanders, Craig Morgan of AZSports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chychrun exited Friday's contest after taking a hit from Ducks' forward Nick Ritchie but it was apparently not severe enough to keep him from missing a start. The No. 16 overall pick in the 2016 draft averages 16:21 of ice time and has tallied just seven points over 30 games this season so remains largely irrelevant in most fantasy formats.
