Allen will man the net Tuesday against the Predators, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has played pretty well recently in the blue paint, allowing two or fewer goal in three of his last four starts. He allowed just one goal on 31 shots in his only prior start against Nashville this season and will look for a similar outing Tuesday against a Predators club that has lost four of its last five games.

Allen allowed just two goals and made 22 saves but suffered a loss to the Wild on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues netminder was pretty solid, but the Wild tagged him for two early second-period goals, which proved to be the difference. Allen's record of 14-5-3 is superb, but his other numbers aren't all that impressive. He owns a 2.39 GAA and .910 save percentage in his first real opportunity to be St. Louis' No. 1 goaltender. In 47 games last season, he had a 2.35 GAA and .920 save percentage with six shutouts.

Allen will start in the crease Sunday against the Wild, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen owns a solid record this season, but his recent performances have been somewhat inconsistent. The team owns a 5-1 record in his last six games despite the mediocre performances in net and Allen will look to keep things going Sunday against a Minnesota club averaging just 2.25 goals per game in December.

Allen saved 20 of 21 shots during Friday's win over New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
Despite a 14-4-3 record, Allen owns an underwhelming .909 save percentage and a mediocre 2.40 GAA. There is plenty of time for him to correct the ratios, and backstopping a contending team will help him to continue padding the wins columns. However, until he becomes more consistent, he's best viewed as a high-end No. 2 goalie for your virtual club.

Allen will start in goal Friday night against host New Jersey, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen had his eight-game winning streak snapped Thursday, with the Islanders hanging three goals on him between 27 shots. Still, he'll go right back to work to complete the back-to-back set, now facing a Devils team that ranks in the bottom half of the league in scoring (19th) and shots per game (23rd).

Allen allowed three goals on 27 shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
He gave up the game-winner in the latter half of the third period, resulting in Allen's eight-game winning streak coming to an end. The 26-year-old has posted disappointing ratios -- a 2.47 GAA and .908 save percentage -- despite his sparkling 13-4-3 record. Even his winning streak had its duds, but we won't begrudge him some help from his offense; it'd just be nice to see a little more consistency.

Allen will start in net Thursday against the Islanders, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been a beast between the posts lately, recording eight consecutive victories while posting a 2.20 GAA and .923 save percentage during that time. He'll look to secure his 14th win on the season on the road against an Islanders' team that ranks 14th in goals scored per game this season (2.60).

Allen stopped 28 of 30 shots during Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win against the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
That's now eight wins in a row for Allen, who simply is playing out of his mind since getting pulled against the Blue Jackets back on Nov. 12. The 26-year-old has been extremely impressive, sporting a 2.00 GAA and .918 save percentage over that span. There's no one hotter between the pipes, as the 2008 second-round pick has completely erased the memories of Brian Elliott and sits as the face of St. Louis -- start and enjoy.

Allen will get the starting nod against the Canadiens on Tuesday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been unbeatable of late as he rides a seven-game winning streak. Over that span, the netminder has logged .922 save percentage and given up just 16 goals. The 26-year-old will go for number eight in a row against an efficient Montreal squad that is averaging a goal for every 10 shots.

Allen stopped 22 of 26 shots to earn his seventh straight victory in the Blues' 5-4 win over the Lightning on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues have made things very interesting of late, blowing third-period leads in each of the previous two games, only to get their two points in extra frames. The same thing was happening Thursday as Tampa Bay refused to give up when down a pair of goals, but Allen and his mates were able to hold on. Allen is now 9-0-2 at home heading into Saturday's home game against Winnipeg.
