Markstrom will patrol the crease in Friday's home game against the Predators, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 Vancouver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom was awful in his last outing, surrendering three goals on just five shots before being yanked in the first period of Wednesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Rangers. The Swedish netminder will look to shake off that poor performance and pick up his 18th victory of the campaign in a tough home matchup with a red-hot Predators team that's won six consecutive games.

Markstrom conceded three times on five shots before exiting after just 12:29 in a 6-5 overtime loss to the Rangers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The less said about this, the better for Markstrom. He'd had two solid outings prior to Wednesday, but the depleted Rangers scored as many goals on him on five shots as he'd given up in his past two contests. This will be one he wants to put behind him in a hurry.

Markstrom will defend the home goal Wednesday against the Rangers, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom has posted a pair of impressive outings between the pipes in his last two starts, allowing a combined three goals between them. He will attempt to keep the good times rolling Wednesday against a Rangers club that shipped away a lot of talent at the trade deadline Monday.

Markstrom saved 24 of 26 shots during Monday's 3-1 loss to Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom and the Canucks didn't have an answer for Nathan MacKinnon on Monday, and the netminder has now won just two of his past seven starts. With a 17-21-5 record, .911 save percentage and 2.71 GAA for the campaign, Markstrom is best viewed as a matchup-proof fantasy option. However, it's definitely important to note that Vancouver is trending in the wrong direction with an 8-14-2 record since Jan. 1.

Markstrom will guard the cage Monday against Colorado, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 Vancouver reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old is fresh off one of his better efforts of the season Sunday, as he shut down Arizona by stopping 41 of 42 shots in a 3-1 victory. In fact ever since he posted a shutout Feb. 11 against Dallas, Markstrom's only allowed five goals on 94 shots throughout four appearances, and seems to be dialed in between the pipes. On the other side, Colorado is currently slumping and have only collected three points in their last five games, scoring just nine goals during the span as well, but have found offensive success throughout the season -- they still rank 10th in the NHL in goals scored per game (3.05).

Markstrom stopped 41 of 42 shots in Sunday's win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
It was one of the best performances of the season for Markstrom, who was making his first start since Feb.14. The Swedish netminder advances to 17-20-5 on the season with a .910 save percentage. He's been playing fairly well of late, so while the Canucks may be out of playoff contention, Markstrom will be looking to finish the year strong and could be worth a fantasy play depending on the matchup.

Markstrom will get the starting nod for Sunday's game against Arizona, Dan Murhpy of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is Markstrom's first start since Feb. 14, but he was able to save all eight shots in relief Friday against Vegas. Still, the 28-year-old has put up a .912 save percentage since the New Year, but hasn't been getting offensive support and has only won six of the 16 contests he's appeared in over that span. Sunday's game will be a quality chance for Markstrom to get his name in the win column however, as Arizona averages the second least goals per game in the NHL (2.39) and rank 26th in shots on goal per game (30).

Markstrom posted eight saves on eight shots over one period in relief of Anders Nilsson during a, 6-3, loss to the Golden Knights on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Canucks simply can't find a goaltender to bail out their poor defense. Markstrom played well in relief, but when handed opportunities to start, and he's allowed four goals in three of his past six games. Markstrom didn't get nailed with a loss in this one, but he has 20 defeats in regulation alone and could finish this season with his lowest save percentage since 2014-15.

Markstrom (undisclosed) will be available for Friday's game against the Knights.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom hasn't been confirmed as the starting netminder for Friday's matchup, but he's likely the favorite to do so now that he's healthy. Official word on the starting netminder should surface at some point prior to the opening faceoff.

Markstrom (undisclosed) won't back up Anders Nilsson in Tuesday's game against the Avalanche, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 Vancouver reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom hasn't started the last two games since allowing four goals on 14 shots to the Panthers on Feb. 14. He wasn't pegged for Tuesday's start anyway when the news broke that he "tweaked something" during morning skate, so Richard Bachman will back up Nilsson again.
