Markstrom will faceoff against the Rangers again Tuesday, Irfaan Gaffar of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom faced the Rangers last Tuesday, stopping 23 of 26 shots on goal in Vancouver's 5-3 victory. While his numbers from that outing weren't impressive, he logged a .885 save percentage, the netminder was able to end a three-game losing streak. New York leads the league in goals per night at 4.06, so it won't be easy for the 26-year-old to register back-to-back wins against the Rangers.

Markstrom gets the starting nod Tuesday versus the Rangers, Dan Murphy of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom will be the netminder of record as the Canucks look to end their nine-game losing streak. In a position battle that remains wide open, the 26-year-old has been unable to distinguish himself from fellow goaltender Ryan Miller. Markstrom's youth would seem to give him the inside edge on the starting job, yet he has been unable to overtake Miller as the No. 1 in Vancouver.

Markstrom gave up only a single goal on 24 shots Thursday, but got no offensive support in a 1-0 loss to Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
The Canucks looked to have the better end of the goaltending heading into this matchup, as Mike Condon started for Ottawa after being acquired from Pittsburgh the day before. Markstrom certainly acquitted himself well, but Condon shut the struggling Vancouver offense out in his Sens debut, sending the Swedish netminder to his third straight loss. Although there's been some inconsistency in the early going, it still looks like the 26-year-old is coming into his own as an NHL goalie, but he's going to have a hard time picking up many wins if the Canucks' skaters continue struggling to put up goals.

Markstrom was named the starting road goalie for Thursday's contest against the Senators, Jon Abbott of TSN 1040 reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the second game of a back-to-back set for the Canucks, with starter Ryan Miller allowing three goals to the Habs on Wednesday. Vancouver has been held scoreless in three out of the past four games -- two goals total -- which means Markstrom is a player to stay away from if your fantasy league has a heavy scoring weight on wins.

Markstrom gave up four goals on 34 shots in a 5-2 loss to the visiting Capitals on Saturday. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
EDGE Analysis
After rattling off three straight wins, Markstrom has now allowed seven goals in a pair of losses. Given the lackluster outings, it's clear he's not quite ready to usurp the starting role in Vancouver from Ryan Miller, but -- as the goalie of the future for the Canucks -- he'll still get plenty of looks this season.

Markstrom will defend the posts Saturday against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom made the most of a stretch of four games that he started while Ryan Miller was out with an abdominal injury as he went 3-0-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .923 save percentage. Now on a full week's rest, he'll have another opportunity to impress against a Capitals team that is tied for last in goals scored (14) this season.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Kings on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The loss snaps a three-game winning streak for Markstrom, who's made four straight starts while Ryan Miller (abdomen) has been shelved. During that span, the big Swedish netminder has recorded a solid .923 save percentage and 1.95 GAA -- helped out by a couple one-goal showings against the Sabres and Blues -- so he's definitely done his part to earn more crease time. Miller is the confirmed starter for Sunday's tilt with the Ducks, but it'll be interesting to see how the remaining three games of the week get divided up.

Markstrom will get the start in goal in Saturday's road matchup with the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom has enjoyed a fantastic start to the season, posting a 3-0-0 record with an admirable 1.65 GAA and .932 save percentage over his first three starts of the 2016-17 campaign. He'll look to remain undefeated Saturday in a surprisingly favorable road matchup with a Kings club that have only averaged 2.50 goals per game this season, 24th in the NHL.

Markstrom won his third consecutive game to open the season Thursday, making 26 saves on 27 shots in a 2-1 victory over Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
After getting bailed out by his offense in his first start, Markstrom's now turned in one-goal gems against the Blues and Sabres. Ryan Miller's still here, though; the veteran notched a shutout in his own first outing, then suffered and recovered from an abdominal injury. Markstrom has a strong opportunity to win starts away from the 36-year-old Miller, but he won't become the No. 1 immediately.

Markstrom will defend the blue paint in Thursday's home matchup with the Sabres, TSN 1040's Jeff Paterson reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom was highly impressive in his last start, stopping 23 of 24 shots en route to a 2-1 overtime victory over the Blues on Tuesday. The 26-year-old netminder will look to pick up his third win of the season Thursday in a favorable home matchup with a Sabres club that has only scored a total of six goals over their first three games of the season.
