Markstrom will serve as the starting road goalie for Saturday's date with the Panthers, Steve Goldstein of FOX Sports Florida reports.
EDGE Analysis
The towering Swede has only faced the Panthers twice in his career, but he catches them at a particularly good time. Florida has lost four straight games and is struggling to adjust to the style preached by interim bench boss Tom Rowe, who surprisingly unseated Gerard Gallant in late November. Look for Markstrom to be backed up by newly recalled tender Thatcher Demko, as Ryan Miller (undisclosed) reportedly wasn't able to skate Saturday morning.

Markstrom surrendered three goals on 22 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Formerly considered one of the game's top goaltending prospects, the 26-year-old Swede has never lived up to that billing. He's been unable to build much momentum this year despite seeing repeated opportunities to establish himself as Vancouver's No. 1 netminder, leaving veteran starter Ryan Miller with a significant workload edge when healthy. With this outing, Markstrom's season save percentage has actually slipped to .899 -- pretty ugly, especially when you consider that the Canucks haven't made him face a ton of rubber.

Markstrom will guard the cage in Tuesday's road game against the Devils, NHL.com's Mike Morreale reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom was sharp in his last outing, turning aside 33 of 35 shots en route to a 3-2 shootout victory over Colorado on Nov. 26. The Swedish goaltender will look to pick up his sixth win of the season in a tough road matchup with a Devils team that owns a 7-0-2 record at home this season.

Markstrom stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over the Avalanche on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom has emerged victorious in two of his last three starts, allowing just four goals on 71 shots in the pair of victories. His save percentage is now back over the .900 plateau (.902) with an improving 2.73 GAA -- which are pretty close to Ryan Miller's .910 and 2.67 marks -- so it'll be interesting to see if either goalie breaks away from the timeshare as the calendar flips to December.

Markstrom will start between the pipes in Saturday's road game against Colorado, TSN 1040's Jon Abbott reports.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom has struggled of late, posting a 1-1-1 record with an ugly 4.18 GAA and .860 save percentage over his last three appearances. The Swedish backstop will look to get back on track in a favorable road matchup with an Avalanche team that has had a tough time scoring at home, having averaged just 2.22 goals per game in their own barn this season, 27th in the NHL.

Markstrom stopped 28 of 32 shots in Saturday's overtime loss to Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom got off to a strong start Saturday, but came up short in a third period in which Chicago scored three times to tie the game and force overtime. The 26-year-old drops to 5-3-2 on the season with a .897 save percentage and 2.82 GAA. He had a strong outing in his last game against Arizona, but the team's overall struggles, in addition to Markstrom's inconsistency, make him an unappealing fantasy option in most leagues right now.

Markstrom will be the starting goalie for Saturday's home game against the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom's play has been shaky of late, but he is coming off a nice 34-save performance last time out against the Coyotes. This will be his third straight start and it will come against a strong Chicago team that is seventh in the league with 3.11 goals scored per game.

Markstrom stopped 34 of 36 Coyotes shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win.
EDGE Analysis
This was a wide-open contest, with 78 shot attempts between the two teams. Markstrom had just allowed seven goals in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers, so it was encouraging to see him come up victorious just 48 hours later. He'll have a monopoly on the Vancouver net as long as Ryan Miller is out with the flu.

Markstrom is in line to start Thursday against the Coyotes, as No. 1 goalie Ryan Miller will not dress due to the flu.
EDGE Analysis
Markstrom was shelled for seven goals on 25 shots from the Rangers on Tuesday, but we're thinking he'll welcome the opportunity to play against the Coyotes -- at 2.53 goals per game. Arizona's team represents a far cry from the league's best offense boasted by New York.

Markstrom was atrocious Tuesday, allowing a whopping seven goals on just 25 shots in a 7-2 loss to the visiting Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The game was still within reach heading into the third period before the Rangers went off, victimizing Markstrom for four goals (on only seven shots) in the final frame. He actually played rather poorly in his last start (three goals on 26 shots, also against the Rangers) despite emerging as the victor, but he quite clearly wasn't as lucky in this one. All told, the Swedish netminder now owns a sub-.900 save percentage (.892) and a 2.82 GAA, so coupled with the fact that the Canucks are one of the lowest scoring teams in the league (with a corresponding terrible goal differential), it's probably best to avoid Markstrom for fantasy purposes at this point.
