Andersen will assume the road net against the Predators on Thursday, Mark Masters of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
A supercharged Lightning squad stunned Andersen with four goals on 25 shots in Tuesday's game, with the Dane squandering a three-goal lead in that one. Still, Toronto's chief netminder can relax knowing his team is a shoo-in for postseason play and young scoring sensation Auston Matthews will return from a shoulder injury to further support Andersen, who will see the league's eighth-ranked offense.

Andersen (upper body) took the 4-3 loss in his return to the lineup Tuesday against the Lightning, stopping just 21 of 25 shots.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was handed a 3-0 lead, but the league's most dangerous offense got one back with 3:20 left in the second period before scoring three unanswered goals in the third. While the combination of rust and a tough road matchup was too much for Andersen to overcome, he remains a terrific fantasy option moving forward now that he's healthy.

As expected, Andersen (upper body) will start against the Lightning on Tuesday evening, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen's upper-body injury evidently wasn't too serious, as he only ended up sitting for two games. He'll now field shots from a Lightning squad that reigns supreme offensively and boasts the league's second-best power play. While this undoubtedly will be a tough matchup for the Dane, he's at 33 wins and needs to pull off only three more for a new career high in said category; he's already achieved a personal-best five shutouts.

Andersen (upper body) is expected to return Tuesday against the Lightning, according to Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock, Mark Masters of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Interim starter Curtis McElhinney has won each of the last three games, including Saturday's 4-0 shutout over the Canadiens, so it's not like there should be a ton of urgency in getting Andersen back into the fold. Andersen owns a 33-18-5 record with a 2.79 GAA and .919 save percentage. Those numbers make him a solid No. 1 fantasy goalie in just about any format.

Andersen (upper body) will not participate in Saturday's game against the Canadiens, Jonas Siegel of The Athletic Toronto reports
EDGE Analysis
Andersen suffered an upper-body injury during Wednesday's game against the Stars and will miss his second straight game as a result. His absence from Saturday's practice isn't a good sign, but it's best to consider the netminder day-to-day until information suggests otherwise. Curtis McElhinney will guard the goal against the Canadiens, while Andersen's next opportunity at playing arrives Tuesday versus the Lightning.

Andersen (upper body) will not dress for Thursday's game against the Sabres, Kristen Shilton of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Buds promoted Garret Sparks from AHL Toronto, and he'll reportedly back up Curtis McElhinney in the upcoming contest. Fortunately, it doesn't appear that Andersen's issue will end up being too problematic, and the team has the luxury of keeping him out with a playoff berth basically already in place.

Andersen will not retake the ice during Wednesday's game against the Stars due to an upper-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen surrendered three goals on 20 shots over 30:25 in net before departing midway through the second period. An extended absence for the 28-year-old netminder could be a devastating blow for a Maple Leafs club already without Auston Matthews (shoulder). More information on his injury should surface in the coming days, with Curtis McElhinney protecting Toronto's net while he is sidelined.

Andersen will start in goal Wednesday evening against the visiting Stars, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The brawny backstop will field shots from a Dallas team that dropped a tough road game to the Habs in Montreal on Tuesday. Andersen could see a desperate Stars team in the upcoming contest, as they are certainly no lock to make the playoffs, and each point is absolutely critical for the Ken Hitchcock-led squad. The Dane enters with a 33-18-5 record to complement a career-high five shutouts, as well as a .919 save percentage that is right in line with his career average.

Andersen allowed two goals on 40 shots during a 5-2 victory over the Penguins on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran was less than four minutes away from a shutout when the Penguins struck twice in just over a minute. That made things a little interesting until the Maple Leafs added an empty-net goal. Yielding the two late goals is disappointing, but this is still the bounce-back game owners were hoping for after Andersen allowed five goals in each of his last two starts. Despite those struggles and the tough matchup, Andersen proved once again don't bet against him at home, where he is 20-7-2 with a .926 save percentage this season.

Andersen will patrol the crease Saturday evening against the visiting Penguins, Mark Masters of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen needs only four more wins to establish a new career high at 36. The Dane's .919 save percentage on the season is right in line with his career norms, with such predictability greatly appreciated from a fantasy perspective. Of course, the Penguins rank third in the league offensively (they're tied with the Bruins and Jets at 3.3 goals per game) and the two-time defending champions would be more than happy to throw the Buds off track. All things considered, this is a tough matchup for Andersen, but he's done very little to warrant benching him in fantasy leagues.
