Andersen is expected to start in net Saturday against the Sabres, Jonas Siegel of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Toronto will also have Calvin Pickard on the roster for this one. Andersen looked sharp Wednesday against the Senators, and he's set up for a strong season after the Maple Leafs added John Tavares in the offseason. In the meantime, Andersen will try to stay sharp against the team that finished last in the league standings last season.

Andersen is in line to start between the pipes in Tuesday's preseason game against the Senators, Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was a workhorse for Toronto last season, registering a 38-21-5 record while posting a 2.81 GAA and .918 save percentage in 66 appearances. The 28-year-old netminder should have a similarly hefty workload this season, and will be playing behind one of the most talented rosters in the NHL, making him an attractive option in most fantasy formats.

Andersen will play for Team Canada in the upcoming IIHF World Hockey Championships.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen finished the regular season with a 38-21-5 record backed up by a .918 save percentage and 2.81 GAA. His playoff performance was a roller coaster, though, as his poor play in dug the Leafs into a 3-1 series deficit, but he played spectacular -- .949 save percentage and 2.00 GAA -- in the next two elimination games before allowing six goals on 35 shots in Game 7.

Andersen made 29 saves on 35 shots in a 7-4 loss to the Bruins in Wednesday's Game 7.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen came up big in Game 6, but with everything on the line he had a rough night, leading to Toronto's elimination. The Danish netminder had a .918 save percentage for the season season in a row, but he put up a 2.81 GAA because he faced 33.9 shots on net per contest. He could use some more defensive help in front of him. Perhaps the Leafs will address that in the offseason.

Andersen will take on the Bruins in Boston for Game 7 of the conference quarterfinals Wednesday, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This confirmation won't catch anyone by surprise, as Andersen has been phenomenal and arguably the main reason why the Buds have forced a seventh game in an exciting series between Original Six clubs. Specifically, Andersen posted a .949 save percentage between Games 5 and 6 (denying 74 of 78 shots), and he helped his team kill off seven of eight power-play opportunities from the B's while earning first-star honors in each of those must-win contests.

Andersen made 32 stops in Monday's 3-1 win over the Bruins in Game 6.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old had arguably his best game of the series Monday, completely shutting the Bruins down after Jake DeBrusk beat him early in the second period and giving the Leafs' offense a chance to stage a comeback. Anderson has rebounded from his rough start to the series by posting a .936 save percentage over the last four games, giving him significant momentum heading into Game 7 on Wednesday in Boston.

Andersen will get the starting nod for Monday's Game 6 clash with the Bruins, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen has faced 40-plus shots in three of his five matchups with Boston in this opening-round series. As a result, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise to see the netminder has allowed 16 pucks find the back of the net for a 3.85 GAA. If the Leafs can't limit the amount of rubber the Dane sees Monday, they could find themselves packing up their lockers sooner rather than later.

Andersen made 42 saves on 45 shots in a 4-3 victory over the Bruins on Saturday. With the win, the Maple Leafs staved off elimination, but the Bruins still lead the series 3-2.
EDGE Analysis
The Maple Leafs scored two early goals, but Andersen still had to be at his best from the get-go and at the very end of the night. The Bruins outshot the Maple Leafs 15-6 in the first period and then 20-5 in the third stanza, but Andersen turned aside all but one of those shots. Despite this performance, the 28-year-old still owns just a .895 save percentage, which doesn't bode well for the Maple Leafs because Andersen may have to be stellar again to force a Game 7.

Andersen will be the road starter for Game 5 against the Bruins on Saturday, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's win or go home for Andersen and the Leafs, who are working with a minus-8 goal differential in these conference quarterfinals. Specifically, the Buds really need that top line to step up as Zach Hyman, Auston Matthews and Connor Brown have six points between them in the opening series.

Andersen gave up three goals on just 21 shots in Thursday's 3-1 Game 4 loss to the Bruins, pushing his team to the brink of elimination.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen was outplayed by Bruins counterpart Tuukka Rask, as Toronto outshot Boston 32-21 but was outscored by two goals. The Danish netminder simply hasn't been good enough in this series, allowing 13 goals on 108 shots for an .880 save percentage. If backup Curtis McElhinney hadn't stunk up the place with four goals allowed on 23 shots in relief during Game 2, coach Mike Babcock would have a difficult decision on his hands heading into Saturday's must-win Game 5 in Boston.
