Andersen allowed five goals on just 24 shots during Monday's 5-3 loss to Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
This was a tough outing for Andersen. The first two goals were deflected right in front of him, and the fifth tally was a controversial non-goalie interference call. Still, the Dane has now allowed 13 goals during his current three-game losing streak. Making matters worse, Toronto doesn't play again until Saturday when the Penguins head to the Air Canada Centre. With Pittsburgh scoring the most goals per game since the All-Star break, it's not out of the question to fade Andersen in the upcoming daunting matchup.

Andersen will tend the twine against the Sabres on Monday, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen will head right back to the crease after getting pulled from Saturday's outdoor game after giving up five goals on 25 shots. The netminder has been struggling of late, as he posted a 3.80 GAA in his previous four outings, but did still manage a 2-1-1 record. A matchup with the woeful Sabres -- who are averaging a league worst 2.37 goals -- could be what the 27-year-old needs to get back on track.

Andersen was pulled from Saturday's Stadium Series game against the Capitals after allowing five goals on 25 shots.
EDGE Analysis
It was just the first time in 55 starts this season Andersen was pulled due to shaky play. The 28-year-old has given up at least three goals in four straight games, but he'd actually been playing fairly well heading into the outdoor game. With the loss, Andersen falls to 32-17-5 on the season with a .920 save percentage. We wouldn't be too worried about his performance outdoors given the unique conditions and elements, so look for him to bounce-back in his next start.

Andersen will be in goal for the Maple Leafs on Saturday, according to the Toronto Sun. He will take on the Capitals for the Stadium Series contest at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
EDGE Analysis
This game will be held outdoors, with Freddie looking to emerge victorious against the Caps for the second time this season; the Danish netminder saved all 30 of their shots on the road Oct. 17 for his first of five shutouts in 2017-18. Alex Ovechkin and Co. rank 10th in the league by means of averaging 3.05 goals per game and just five other teams have a better power play. However, both Andersen and counterpart Braden Holtby will have to battle a unique element in the upcoming contest: the wind, which was blowing at a 19-mph rate at the time of this writing.

Andersen stopped 39 of 42 shots during Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
This was just the second loss in nine starts for Andersen, and he now sports a rock-solid 32-16-5 record, .922 save percentage and 2.67 GAA with five shutouts for the campaign. The Maple Leafs added Tomas Plekanec on Sunday to help their defensive matchups and add depth up the middle, and the team has secured three of a possible four points against Boston and Tampa Bay with Auston Matthews (shoulder) out of the lineup. Expect Andersen to remain a strong option in most matchups moving forward.

Andersen will patrol the blue paint as a road starter against the Lightning on Monday, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Toronto's primary puck plugger reportedly will be countered by Andrei Vasilevskiy, who very well could claim the Vezina Trophy for top goalie this season. However, Andersen is flirting with career-best ratios, maintaining a 2.67 GAA and .922 save percentage through 53 appearances, plus he's garnered wins in seven of his last 10 games. We continue to view Andersen as an above-average fantasy goaltender.

Andersen stopped 23 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen entered the game with a 9-1-0 record in 10 career starts against the Bruins. He continues to be the Leafs' MVP and has been a dominating force in the blue paint. Andersen will likely start all Leaf games other than the second half of back-to-backs, as we move toward season's end.

Andersen will patrol the crease Saturday evening against the visiting Bruins, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boston is one of the heavyweights of the Eastern Conference, having accrued 82 points and standing only behind the divisional foes from Tampa Bay. But Andersen's team is only one point behind the B's, and the Dane will be chasing his third consecutive win. Thanks to his shutout over the Panthers on Tuesday, he's posted an impressive .960 percentage over his last two outings. Boston reportedly will counter with traditional starter Tuukka Rask, who is 24-10-4 on the season.

Andersen made 32 saves through overtime in a 4-3 shootout win over the Islanders on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen's ascension continues. He's delivering a Hart-like performance in the Buds' blue paint. Andersen is 6-1 in his last seven starts and is an auto-roll. But you knew that already.

Andersen will start in goal against the visiting Islanders on Thursday, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Naturally, the Islanders have had trouble away from the confines of Barclays Center, as evidenced by their road record of 13-15-2. However, John Tavares and Co. boast an incredibly strong attack, sitting fifth in the league by means of averaging 3.28 goals per game -- tied with the Jets for a third-place ranking. As for Andersen, he shut out the Panthers on the way to his 30th win of the season Tuesday night, and he's now won five of eight decisions in February. He seems to rise to the occasion when the matchups are tough -- exhibit A: his triumph over an electric Lightning team Feb. 12 -- so we'd feel good about using Andersen as a set-and-forget type of netminder in fantasy hockey.
