Andersen made 44 saves in a 6-5 shootout loss to Montreal on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
The game involved no defense whatsoever and both Andersen and Charlie Lindgren played acrobatic hockey. The Leafs got a scare in the third period when Andrew Shaw rammed him, hitting Andersen's head. But the twinetender popped up, shook off the hit and kept going. Andersen's game seems to be settled heading into the playoffs. It will need to be or the Leafs have no hope, regardless of how many points they earned this season.

Andersen made 26 saves in a 3-1 loss to the Lightning on Thursday night.
EDGE Analysis
The game was tied until three-quarters of the way through the third. The Bolts cemented the win with under a minute to go. Andersen may only have three wins in his last 11 games and his record is just 4-3-3 in that span. But he made some big saves and looks to have settled his game heading into the postseason.

Andersen will tend the twine for Thursday's home tilt against Tampa Bay, Mark Masters of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen figures to also get the nod for the final game of the year on the road versus Montreal on Saturday. If the netminder can secure wins in both contests, he will match his career high for wins (38) set last season, although he's only managed one shutout this year -- his lowest total since his rookie campaign with Anaheim.

Andersen turned aside 28 of 29 shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
His shutout bid was spoiled by Jordan Eberle's power-play goal late in the third period, but this was still a much-needed strong performance from Andersen, who'd allowed nine goals in his last two starts and four or more in five of his last seven. The Leafs now have a playoff spot locked up and have little chance of improving their seeding, so Andersen could get rested more than usual over the final three games on the Toronto schedule.

Andersen will tend the twine for Monday's road tilt with the Islanders, Paul Hendrick of the Maple Leafs' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen will be looking to bounce back from a pair of disappointing outings in which he gave up nine goals on 80 shots (.887 save percentage). It's certainly not a good time for the Dane to start slumping, though a heavy workload down the stretch could be a factor. After getting the night off versus Ottawa on Saturday, the netminder should be ready to face a New York squad that is averaging just 28.7 shots (third lowest in the league).

Andersen stopped 40 of 44 shots in regulation and overtime, and four of five shootout attempts, in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
The netminder didn't get a lot of help from his defense and held off the Flyers as long as he could in the shootout, but this was still the fifth time in his last seven starts Andersen has given up at least four goals. His 4.63 GAA and .857 save percentage over that stretch are atrocious, and while the Leafs have all but locked up a playoff spot, the team won't go far without more consistent play between the pipes.

Andersen will get the starting nod on the road against the Flyers on Wednesday, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen figures to continue carrying the load for the Maple Leafs, but could concede a few starts to Garrett Sparks if it becomes clear the team won't catch Boston for the No. 2 spot in the Atlantic Division. Toronto does have a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday versus the Islanders and Hurricanes, respectively, which could be the next time Andersen gets a night off.

Andersen stopped 31 of 36 shots in Monday's 7-5 win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The Leafs took a 6-2 lead early in the third period, and it was a good thing they did because Andersen proceeded to allow three goals on 15 shots the rest of the way. The late letdown continued a rough March for the netminder, who's given up at least four goals in four of his last six starts and now sports a 3.64 GAA and .887 save percentage on the month.

Andersen will start in goal Monday versus Florida, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Panthers enter play Monday losers of three of their last four games, but Andersen has only one win in his last five appearances (1-2-1) and has split two matchups with Florida in 2018-19. He's coming off a 2-1 overtime loss to the Rangers in his last start and owns a 4.80 GAA and .835 save percentage over his last five appearances.

Andersen made 26 saves in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Rangers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
He's back. Andersen was sharp, but Alexandar Georgiev was white hot at the other end. The Leafs fired 45 shot at the young man and made a whopping 104 attempts at the net, but the Russian stymied them. Andersen's squeamish play from last week seems to be out of his system. Use with confidence.
