Eddie Lack will start for Vancouver on Monday against Detroit. The Canucks play in Boston on Tuesday, so Roberto Luongo will probably get the nod for that match. Lack has lost his past four outings, but he played very well in two of those contests.

Eddie Lack allowed three goals on only 13 shots in Vancouver's 9-1 loss to Anaheim Wednesday night. Lack was pulled in the second period for rookie Joacim Eriksson, who was making his NHL debut. The first shot he faced was Nick Bonino's slapper that made its way through traffic and into the net at 6:00 to make it 4-0. Eriksson allowed six goals on 31 shots, not a great way to start in the NHL. The Canucks will play again on Thursday and Lack should get a start again.

Eddie Lack turned aside 19 of 20 shots in Vancouver's 1-0 loss to Los Angeles Monday night. Lack started again for the Canucks and he played a good game between the pipes. He now has a 8-4-3 record with a 2.12 goals-against average and .924 save percentage.

Eddie Lack stopped 30 of 31 shots in Vancouver's 2-1 win over St. Louis Friday night at Rogers Arena. Starting for the eighth time in nine games because of injuries to No.1 Roberto Luongo, the rookie goalie was Vancouver's best player early. He now has a 8-3-3 record with a 2.19 GAA and .922 save percentage.

Eddie Lack let in four goals on 35 shots in Vancouver's 5-4 shootout loss to Pittsburgh Tuesday evening. Lack now has a 7-3-3 record with a 2.27 goals-against average and .920 save percentage. He will start for the Canucks as long as Roberto Luongo is injured.

Eddie Lack will play between the pipes on Tuesday. No real surprise there given that Roberto Luongo is dealing with an ankle injury. Lack turned aside 45 of 49 shots in Vancouver's 4-3 defeat on Sunday.
