Keith will "more than likely" play against the Rangers on Tuesday after feeling under the weather earlier in the day, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
While this sounds like nothing to worry about, it's at least worth noting there's a chance that Keith won't suit up Tuesday night. Assume the veteran blueliner is playing for now, but we'll be sure to update his status if he is not in the lineup prior to puck drop.

Keith posted two assists in Thursday's 4-3 overtime victory over New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
It's awfully hard to complain about getting 17 assists in 25 games out of a blueliner, but Keith has now put 54 pucks on net and been denied 54 times. It could be that's getting in his head, as he's only totaled seven shots in the last five games. Still, he's one of the best in the business and should experience better puck luck soon.

Keith contributed two helpers in 27:24 of ice time in Sunday's overtime win over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
The red-hot Blackhawks have won six straight games and Keith has been logging whopping minutes in the process. The veteran blueliner is steadily producing assists, contributing 11 helpers in 13 games thus far. He's yet to score a goal this season, but Keith is sporting a solid plus-7 rating and firing the puck on net often, so you know it's bound to happen sooner rather than later. With the way Chicago is rolling right now, the power-play quarterback and minute-muncher should be an automatic roll every game.

Keith notched a pair of assists in Thursday's 4-0 win over Colorado, giving him nine in 11 games.
EDGE Analysis
Keith has now taken 27 shots on goal without hitting the back of the net, but all those helpers will keep his fantasy owners happy until he breaks through with some goals. At 33, Keith continues to enjoy big-time minutes as Chicago's top blueliner, so it's quite reasonable to expect another big season out of him. As long as his health holds up, Keith is a strong candidate to hit 50 points.

Keith notched a game-winning assist and four shots on goal during Friday's 3-2 overtime win against the Devils.
EDGE Analysis
Keith hasn't lit the lamp yet this year, but the 33-year-old is finding a way to make an impact. The veteran blueliner has seven helpers to date and usually doesn't score too often -- 14 goals in his career high -- so the lack of tallies should come as no surprise. Keith remains a key cog protecting Chicago's blue line and should sit tight in your fantasy lineups.

Keith registered an assist and received 26:38 of ice time during Friday's game against Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Keith is clearly over the knee injury that held him out of the World Cup of Hockey and parts of training camp. He's now logged 25:34 and 26:38 of ice in the first two games of the season, respectively. It also didn't take long to dispel the suggestion that head coach Joel Quenneville was going to lessen Keith's workload. The veteran defenseman projects to continue being a strong fantasy option with his workhorse role remaining in tact.

Keith (knee) told reporters Tuesday that he believes he'll be ready for the Blackhawks' Oct. 12 regular-season opener against the Blues, NHL.com's Brian Hedger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Keith also told reporters that he will draw into his first preseason game of the year Tuesday evening in a matchup with the Red Wings. The two-time Norris Trophy winner has been bothered by his surgically repaired right knee while preparing for the upcoming season, a lingering ailment that ultimately forced him to bow out of the World Cup of Hockey, leaving his status for the Blackhawks' season opener in doubt. It appears those doubts are close to being laid to rest. If the 33-year-old blueliner manages to complete Tuesday's contest without suffering any sort of setback, the 'Hawks training staff will likely feel far more comfortable granting Keith medical clearance ahead of Chicago's first game of the regular season. Keith's knee issue may be something he's forced to deal with for the rest of his career, but the Blackhawks are already making changes to accommodate that unfortunate prospect, including putting plans in place to more carefully manage his minutes during the upcoming campaign. Keith may no longer be capable of averaging over 25 minutes of ice time per game, but will still undoubtedly be one of the most efficient defenseman in the league while averaging at least 22 minutes of ice time per game in 2016-17.

Keith will have his minutes managed carefully once he returns from his knee injury, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Keith was the 12th-most utilized defenseman last season, averaging 30.1 shifts and 25:16 of ice time per contest, but the Blackhawks have wisely decided to hold him out of the first four preseason games and put his playing time under a microscope in effort to avoid wear and tear on his knee before the regular season even begins. Keith was quite efficient last season, finding twine nine times to go along with 34 helpers in just 67 games.

Keith (knee) will not participate in the Blackhawks' first four preseason games, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the knee injury, Keith should return to his 2015-16 form that saw him rack up nine goals and 34 assists, including 18 points with the man advantage. Even if it takes the blueliner a few games to shake off the rust, fantasy owners would be hard pressed to find a more consistent scorer among defensemen.

Keith (knee) practiced Friday, Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago reports.
EDGE Analysis
Keith pulled out of playing for Team Canada in the Hockey World Cup to nurse his surgically-repaired knee. It's still unknown how much Keith will participate in the preseason, but the veteran defenseman has been skating for about a month. The Blackhawks will take a cautious approach with Keith, but assistant coach Mike Kitchen believes that Keith "should be fine" for the regular season. Last season, the 33-year-old notched 50 points (nine goals, 41 assists) in 75 games.
