Anderson will start Tuesday's home game against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Meanwhile, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun relays that there is a "pretty good chance" that Andrew Hammond -- who blanked Montreal in Saturday's 5-0 win -- will man the Sens' net Wednesday on the road against the Islanders. Anderson will square off Tuesday against a Washington squad that was thumped by Pittsburgh by a 6-2 score Sunday.

Anderson let in three goals on 34 shots in a 3-1 loss to Buffalo on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Making his 56th start of the season, Anderson was outdone by Sabres backup Chad Johnson, who stopped 32 of 33 shots at the other end of the rink. At first glance, one might think that Anderson's 2.80 GAA this year is a tad bloated, but it's actually just a smidge worse than his career average of 2.73 spread over 462 NHL contests. Nonetheless, the veteran netminder owns a .916 save percentage and a 29-22-4 record in what's been a disappointing season for the Sens, who are set to miss the playoffs for the second time in five years.

Anderson will be in the crease in Friday's road game against the Sabres, Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has played well of late, compiling a 2-0-0 record with an impressive 0.98 GAA and .963 save percentage in his last two outings. He'll look to keep rolling Friday in a highly favorable road matchup with a Sabres team averaging a meager 2.30 goals per game at home this season, 29th in the NHL.

Anderson stopped 23 of 25 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime victory over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Even though Anderson allowed the Wild to score on their first shot of the game, the netminder was able to bounce back and notch his second straight victory. After allowing six goals in his return from a lower-body injury, the 34-year-old is looking sharp as the rust has clearly dissipated. Anderson owns a 29-21-4 record on the year going into Friday's matchup against Buffalo.

Anderson will start Tuesday's game against the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Though Anderson is 4-7-2, with a 2.83 GAA and .903 save percentage against Minnesota over his career, he is coming off a 29-save shutout effort against the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Wild bounced back from a two-game skid with a 4-1 win over Montreal on Saturday.

Anderson made 29 saves Saturday against the Leafs for his fourth shutout of the season. The final score was 4-0.
EDGE Analysis
It was as nice rebound for Anderson who gave up six goals in his last start and three before he was pulled in the one before that. But don't read to much into it -- the Leafs didn't exactly test Anderson, so we're not exactly confident he's shaken the yips. Be cautious.

Anderson will tend the twine against the Maple Leafs on Saturday, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is back in the crease after getting shelled by the Panthers for six goals Thursday. The netminder is clearly in a funk as he has posted a 4.81 GAA and .874 save percentage in his last four outings. This could be a well-timed meeting with Toronto for the 34-year-old. The Maple Leafs were majors sellers at the trade deadline and are one of the best opponents Anderson could go up against to snag a win and get his season back on track.

Anderson was lit up for six goals on 31 shots in Thursday's 6-2 loss to Florida.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's return from a four-game absence could not have gone worse. Coming into Thursday, the netminder had allowed six or more goals three times this season, and Florida managed to make it four. The 34-year-old may be rusty -- or possibly not fully healthy -- but before the ailment, Anderson had won five of seven appearances. Let's hope the veteran can return to the .929 save percentage he showcased in that span.

Anderson (lower body) will return to the net Thursday night as the starter versus the Panthers, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson missed the last four contests, but he's all systems go to face a Panthers team ranked 15th in the league at 2.65 goals per game. The veteran has frequently been burned this season as the owner of a 2.81 GAA. For the sake of comparison, 36 netminders currently have a better rate in that category.

Anderson (lower body) is expecting to be available for Thursday's matchup against Florida, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has a chance to return from his ailment after missing four games. It may be too little too late for the Sens, however, as Andrew Hammond was only able to come away with one victory in the netminder's absence. If the 34-year-old is able to start, he'll look to add to his 27-20-4 record on the season, and before sustaining the injury against St. Louis on March 1, he won five of six contests. Keep an eye out for an update on Anderson as we get closer to Thursday's matchup with the Panthers.
