Anderson is dealing with a personal issue and will not make the trip to Buffalo on Tuesday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is firmly entrenched as the starter in Ottawa and missing Tuesday's preseason contest will not change that. While he was able to notch 31 wins last year, the netminder recorded a dismal 2.78 GAA, which should concern fantasy owners.

Anderson finished the 2015-16 year with a 31-23-5 record to go along with a 2.78 GAA and .916 save percentage in 60 appearances.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson picked up his highest win total since the 2011-12 season, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough to lead the Sens to the playoffs. The 34-year-old netminder (and Andrew Hammond) consistently gave up the first goal -- 51 times to be exact -- which buried Ottawa early and often, especially down the stretch. A bounce-back campaign should be in the works, and expect Anderson to keep ahold of the starting job between the pipes.

Anderson stopped 33 of 34 shots en route to a 3-1 win over the Panthers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Panthers came into the game winners of four straight, but Anderson put a stop to that after turning aside all but one. Anderson has now won two straight games after losing three in a row prior. The 34-year-old will look to finish out his season on a high note, should he be making the start, against the Bruins on April 9.

Anderson will guard the cage Thursday as the Senators host the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has recently given way to Andrew Hammond in net, but will return between the pipes Thursday to face a Panthers club having won their last four games. The 34-year-old netminder will look to build on his last outing March 31 when he picked up his 30th victory of the campaign by stopping 23 of the 25 shots sent his way, and his 18-7-4 record with a 2.22 GAA and .929 save percentage at home certainly gives him a shot at doing so.

Anderson stopped the streaking Wild, allowing only two goals on 25 shots in a 3-2 win.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was able to stop a streak of his own, as the netminder came into Thursday's matchup losing his last three outings. While the Sens are officially eliminated from playoff contention, the 34-year-old obviously isn't ready to bow out of his disappointing campaign. Anderson picked up win No. 30, but his 2.81 GAA and .915 save percentage is simply not good enough and he'll look to improve those averages before season's end.

Anderson is slated to start Thursday's game against the Wild, Brent Wallace of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
In advance of the team's upcoming back-to-back set, goaltending coach Rick Wamsley relayed Tuesday that the Sens' plan is to have Andrew Hammond start Wednesday in Winnipeg, while Anderson will get the nod Thursday in Minnesota. Anderson has dropped three straight decisions, allowing 10 goals in the process, while the Wild are currently on a five-game roll.

Anderson allowed four goals on 39 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson simply imploded in this one -- the netminder was nursing a 3-0 lead going into the third period. Unfortunately, it's what you've come to expect from the 34-year-old at this point in his campaign, as he's now lost three straight and continues into a downward spiral (along with the Sens). Anderson sports a pedestrian 2.82 GAA and .915 save percentage on the year, leaving it hard to trust him as we near the end of the season.

Anderson will tend twine at home Saturday night against the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
The writing was on the wall that Anderson would get the starting nod since he was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate. A 12-year veteran, Anderson is looking for his 30th win of the season in 58 starts. He hasn't hit that mark since the 2011-12 campaign, when he put up 33 victories, also with the Sens.

Anderson was the first netminder off the ice at morning skate Saturday, Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports, making him likely to start against the Ducks later in the evening.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has played poorly this month, winning just two of five games and posting a 3.05 GAA in six starts. Since he's likely to face a strong Ducks team that has already carved out a spot in the playoffs, we recommend finding alternatives in daily formats Saturday. That shouldn't be a tough venture with 14 games on tap.

Anderson was beat three times on 21 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Facing a potent Washington team, Anderson really struggled out of the gate, allowing three goals in the first period. However, he settled down and kept the puck out of the back of the net for the remainder of the game. T.J. Oshie added an empty-net goal at the end of the game. Anderson has now lost two straight games, and three of his last five.
