Anderson home ice success continued Saturday when he made 29 saves in a 5-4 overtime win in Game 5 against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
This series has been a home-ice dominant series and Anderson stood tall Saturday to allow his team to battle back from a first-period deficit and a third-period one, too. Anderson was pulled in Game 4, so this is a nice rebound effort.

Anderson will start in goal Saturday for Game 5 against the Rangers, NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With these conference semifinals tied at two games apiece, Anderson will try to look past recent struggles that have been exacerbated by his yielding three goals on 20 shots before getting pulled in favor of Mike Condon on Thursday. Anderson's upcoming start will be at home, which is good news for fantasy owners deploying him in daily settings given that both his victories in this grueling series have come in front of the Ottawa faithful.

Anderson was pulled from Friday's Game 4 loss to the Rangers after giving up three goals on 20 shots.
EDGE Analysis
Mike Condon replaced Anderson at the start of the third period, marking another rough outing for the veteran netminder. The Senators simply haven't had any answer for the resurgent Rangers in the last two games, so it's hard to pin it on Anderson. The netminder is still sporting a solid .913 save percentage these playoffs and is very capable of bouncing back. Ottawa is in trouble right now, but Anderson has been exceptional at times this postseason, so the Senators will be counting on a big showing from their starting goaltender in Game 5 to help shift the momentum in the series.

As expected, Anderson will start in goal against the Rangers in Game 4 on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
This latest report notes that Anderson needs just two more victories to tie Ray Emery for second place on the franchise's playoff win list. Ottawa largely deprived the veteran netminder in terms of offensive support in the Game 3 loss, but the Rangers have had the weakest power-play conversion rate (7.7 percent) in these playoffs, and that's clearly benefited Anderson as he attempts to guide the Senators to the conference finals.

Anderson will start between the pipes in Thursday's Game 4 against the Rangers, TSN 1200 reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson struggled in Tuesday's Game 3, surrendering four goals on 30 shots en route to a 4-1 loss. The veteran netminder wasn't much better in Game 2, allowing five goals on 48 shots, but he received enough goal support from his teammates in that contest to pick up his sixth win of the postseason. He'll look to get back on track Wednesday and help his team secure a two-game advantage over the Rangers.

Anderson gave up four goals on 30 shots in Tuesday's Game 3 defeat by the Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
EDGE Analysis
He's been tagged for nine goals in the last two games of this series, and this last contest wasn't particularly competitive. The Sens still hold a 2-1 series lead, but that could evaporate quickly if Anderson remains vulnerable, particularly with a couple key Ottawa forwards having gotten banged up Tuesday. Anderson's save percentage in these playoffs is a fairly mediocre .917, so those who picked him in playoff pools are probably mostly just thankful that he's avoided elimination so far.

Anderson will tend the twine for Game 3 against the Rangers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Despite giving up five goals in Game 2, Anderson walked away with the win. Through the first two contests of this second-round series, the netminder has faced 83 shots -- saving 77 of them -- and can likely expect to see another high volume of rubber Tuesday.

Anderson saved 43 of 48 shots during Saturday's Game 2 overtime win against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson wasn't his sharpest Saturday, but the Rangers had more shots and high-danger chances than Ottawa, and the Senators were able to pull out the win. Additionally, he saved 17 straight shots to hold New York at five goals and allow the Sens to tie the game in the third period and then win it in overtime. Anderson will look to backstop another Ottawa win and grab a 3-0 stranglehold of the series Tuesday in New York.

Anderson will start between the pipes in Saturday's Game 2 against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was razor-sharp in Game 1, turning aside 34 of the 35 shots he faced en route to a 2-1 victory. The veteran netminder has been stellar this postseason, compiling a 5-2-0 record while registering an impressive 1.81 GAA and .930 save percentage over seven appearances. He'll look to stay dialed in and help his team secure a two-game advantage over the Rangers on Saturday.

Anderson made 34 saves to beat the Rangers 2-1 in Game 1 Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
While Anderson had a number of misadventures handling the puck, he looked excellent as long as he stayed in the crease. The lone goal against him came on a Ryan McDonagh power-play snapshot from the blue line aided by a Chris Kreider screen, but Ottawa was otherwise able to keep the area in front of Anderson clear so he could see pucks all the way. New York's 35 shots were more than Boston managed in all but one of six games against the Senators in Round 1, suggesting the veteran netminder will be busier this series.
