Despite an earlier report suggesting it was the case, Anderson will not start Saturday's contest against the Oilers, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will cede Saturday's start to backup Mike Condon with Ottawa playing its second road game in consecutive nights. With a 1.65 GAA and .937 save percentage through his first four outings, it's been an impressive start to the season for Anderson. He projects to return to the crease for a home start against the Canucks on Tuesday.

Anderson will guard the goal in Saturday's road game against the Oilers, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has been razor-sharp thus far this season, posting a 2-0-2 record while registering a superb 1.65 GAA and .937 save percentage over four appearances. The 36-year-old netminder will look to stay hot Saturday in a matchup with an Oilers squad that will be without one of its top offensive weapons in Leon Draisaitl.

Anderson stopped all 25 shots he saw in a 6-0 victory against the Flames on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
Ottawa scored just one goal in each of the first two periods, but the floodgates opened in the third, as the Senators added three insurance tallies in the first 10 minutes of the final stanza. Since allowing four goals against the Capitals in his season debut, Anderson has stopped 80 of 83 shot attempts (.963). With this hot start, it appears the 36-year-old has picked up right where he left off when he played tremendously in the 2017 playoffs.

Anderson will start between the pipes in Friday's road game against the Flames, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has been sharp early on this season, posting a 2.15 GAA and .919 save percentage through his first three appearances. The 36-year-old backstop will look to pick up his second victory of the campaign Friday in a tough road matchup with a Calgary team that has won three of its first four games.

Anderson stopped 26 of 28 shots in Tuesday's shootout win over the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
While it was the first victory of the season for the veteran, Anderson has helped the Senators earn at least one point in all three of his starts thus far. The 36-year-old will continue to see the bulk of starts in Ottawa this year and will try to replicate the .926 save percentage he posted in 2016-17. The team is lacking without their injured superstar Erik Karlsson in the lineup right now, but Anderson is a solid fantasy goaltender who is worthy of a start whenever he's in action.

Anderson will guard the cage in Tuesday's matchup with Vancouver, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite allowing just one goal Saturday, Anderson couldn't register a victory after he was beaten in the shootout. The netminder was left high and dry by his teammates, as they could only get one puck into the back of the net during regular time and failed to beat Detroit's Jimmy Howard in any of their three shootout attempts. The veteran could be facing a high volume of shots Tuesday given all the injures to the Senators' defensive core -- whether he is up to the task remains to be seen.

Anderson, who made 29 saves, took a second straight overtime loss Saturday, as he fell victim to the visiting Red Wings in the shootout, 2-1.
EDGE Analysis
Forward Frans Nielsen solved Anderson for the first and only shootout goal between the Atlantic Division teams. Based on the veteran's ill-fated start to the new campaign, it wouldn't be surprising to see backup Mike Condon unleashed between the pipes in the near future -- perhaps he'll debut Tuesday versus host Vancouver, but it will be worth checking back to make sure that is indeed the case.

Anderson will patrol the blue paint Saturday night versus the visiting Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran netminder will be hoping for much better results after coughing up four goals on 28 shots to the Capitals on Thursday, resulting in an Opening Night overtime loss. He's gone 6-8-3 with a 2.81 GAA and .915 save percentage lifetime against the Wings, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence in using him on a 15-game slate.

Anderson allowed four goals on 28 shots in Thursday's season-opening shootout loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Not an ideal start for Anderson, who recently inked a two-year extension with the Senators. The aging veteran has been an inspiration for the team with his wife's cancer story, but his best years on the ice are likely behind him. While the opener wasn't ideal for Anderson fantasy owners, he posted a .926 save percentage in 40 games last season and clearly still possesses all the tools to be a starting netminder. Look for the 36-year-old to rebound and get back on track in his next outing.

Anderson will patrol the blue paint against Washington on Thursday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite making just 40 appearances for the Sens last season, Anderson still managed to rack up 25 victories and should get back to being a 30-win netminder in 2017-18. The 36-year-old figures to see the bulk of the starts this year, but could get some rest down the stretch thanks to capable backup Mike Condon.
