Anderson will defend the cage Sunday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Usually a model of consistency in between the pipes, Anderson has been anything but that in 2017-18. Through 14 appearances, Anderson has already allowed more than three goals in a game on five occasions and owns season marks of 2.92 GAA and .898 save percentage. Anderson does own a 7-4-3 record, but this is largely due to the fact that the Sens have the fifth-best offense in the league, averaging 3.39 goals per game.

Anderson saved 26 of 28 shots during Thursday's 3-1 loss to Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
There has been a lot of game-to-game inconsistency from the 36-year-old veteran this season, as he sports a disappointing .898 save percentage and 2.92 GAA through 14 contests. Anderson has the potential to improve those marks over the coming weeks, and his track record is encouraging. However, it's also not out of the question to suggest his age is catching up and hindering his performance. After all, the Senators are allowing the fewest high-danger scoring chances (9.14) per 60 minutes at five-on-five in the league.

Anderson will be between the pipes against the Penguins on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
After earning a win in the first game of the NHL Global Series in Stockholm, Sweden, Anderson was pressed into action in relief of the struggling Mike Condon, earning a second win overseas. With his backup underperforming, more pressure will be on Anderson to log more time in the crease. The netminder will need his teammates to stay out of the box if he is going to get the win, considering Pittsburgh fields the league's fifth best power play (24.3 percent).

Anderson stopped all six shots faced in relief of Mike Condon during Saturday's 4-3 triumph over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
The 36-year-old netminder helped Ottawa pull out a hard-earned win overseas to give him a 7-3-3 record on the season. Clearly ahead of Mike Condon on the depth chart, he's a worthy play in standard formats on volume alone, but his 3.11 GAA and .893 save percentage is far from ideal so use him wisely.

Anderson made 16 saves on 19 shots against Colorado on Friday, picking up a 4-3 overtime win in Sweden.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's struggle with Colorado can't really be chalked up to the trip to Europe, as he's been struggling badly as of late. Prior to Friday, he'd given up five goals or more in six of his past seven starts. This one wasn't as bad on the scoreboard, but that's because the Avalanche only got 19 shots to the net. Anderson has to turn things around if he's going to remain a starting fantasy goalie.

Anderson will get the starting nod on the road against the Avalanche on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will look to bounce back after a disappointing five-goal performance versus the Golden Knights on Saturday. With nearly a week off, the netminder should be well rested. In his previous two contests as the visiting goalie, the 36-year-old has logged a pair of victories along with a .96 GAA and .962 save percentage.

Anderson stopped 29 of 34 shots in Saturday's 5-4 home loss to the Golden Knights.
EDGE Analysis
While this clearly was a poor performance by the Ottawa defense in general, credit the expansion team for scoring at least one goal in every period and converting on two power-play opportunities. Anderson's been quite inconsistent this season, amounting to a 5-3-3 record, 3.13 GAA and .896 save percentage.

Anderson will assume the home net against the Golden Knights on Saturday, Steve Lloyd of TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Illinois native has been incredibly inconsistent this season. Looking under the hood, he's achieved a shutout (Oct. 13 in Calgary) as well as a complete dud, yielding six goals on 15 shots opposing the Canadiens at home Monday. This eight other performances haven't been as extreme, but he's still operating with uninspiring peripherals, including a 2.93 GAA and .901 save percentage). Anderson will be pitted against a Vegas team that's lost three straight and is currently tied with Pittsburgh and Florida for a 24th-place ranking in road goals per game (2.40), so we may see one of his better performances this weekend.

Thu 11/2/17 11:24 PM

Anderson stopped 24 of 25 shots during Thursday's 3-1 win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran netminder entered with a .865 save percentage and 4.50 GAA through his previous five outings, so this was a welcomed rebound. Anderson's .901 and 2.93 year-long marks are still well below expectations, but it wouldn't be shocking if he continued to improve them moving forward. Don't let his mediocre 10-game sample to start 2017-18 cloud a long-standing track record of solid fantasy results.

Anderson will start between the pipes in Thursday's home game against the Red Wings, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has been extremely shaky of late, posting a 2-2-1 record while maintaining an ugly 4.50 GAA and .865 save percentage over his last five appearances. The veteran netminder will look to get back on track Thursday in a favorable home matchup with a Red Wings club that's only averaging 2.69 goals per game this season, 25th in the NHL.
