"That is what needs to be worked out. It's the biggest obstacle standing between us and a new deal. I didn't necessarily have expectations, but yeah, I'd be happier if we had made some ground." Unfortunately, the fact that it's not being discussed means that hockey fans need to guard themselves from getting too optimistic during this weekends negotiations. Still, the fact that they're talking at all is a positive sign.
