Penguins' NHLPA representative Craig Adams is encouraged if only that the NHLPA and the owners will be in the same room again Friday. The two sides are still far apart on a new collective bargaining agreement, but like Adams says, there's no harm in "exchanging ideas." "When you're not talking, nothing can get done," Adams said. "Who knows what's going to happen this weekend? But let's hope something good happens, that progress is made." Negotiations could last into Sunday.
