Schneider lost for the fourth straight game Sunday, giving up two goals on 25 shots against the Ducks. Schneider falls to 26-28-8 on the season with a .928 save percentage and 2.19 GAA. His rate stats are among the best in the NHL, but the Devils have been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention and Schneider has just two wins in his last nine outings. If you can deal with some losses, the 29-year-old is a good fantasy option for these final few games.

Schneider will get the start in goal Sunday against the Ducks, Rich Chere of the Star-Ledger reports. Schneider has been a workhorse this season, starting 63 games and posting a 2.19 GAA and .928 save percentage. He's just 26-27 on the year, however, as the Devils are the third-lowest scoring team in the NHL, providing Schneider with only 2.2 goals per game.

Schneider gave up three goals on 24 shots Thursday against Washington, including the game-winner by Matt Niskanen 1:13 into overtime. That's three straight losses for Schneider now, and with the Devils out of playoff contention -- if not officially eliminated -- it wouldn't be surprising to see them give a few more starts to backup Keith Kinkaid in the season's final weeks.

Schneider will be in the crease for Thursday's game against the Capitals, Tom Gulitti of The Record reports. Assuming that Braden Holtby gets the nod for the Capitals, Thursday's match will feature two of the NHL's three most oft-used goalies this season. Holtby has benefited from significantly more offensive support this season than has Schneider, who has been stuck with a sub-.500 record (26-27-7) over 63 outings, despite ranking third in the league in save percentage (.928) and fifth in GAA (2.17). Getting the win may be too much for fantasy owners to ask from Schneider, but he can be counted on to deliver sterling ratios night in and night out.

Schneider turned aside 30 of 33 shots but was on the losing end of Monday's 3-1 contest against the Kings. It's Schneider's second straight loss, but he continues to turn in great performances as his mates have provided him was just one total goal in those two outings. The 29-year-old sports an elite 2.17 GAA and .928 save percentage, but has been saddled with a 26-27-2 record behind the league's third lowest scoring offense.

Schneider received the starting nod for Monday's game against the Kings, Rich Chere of the Star-Ledger reports. Schneider allowed two goals on 29 shots in Saturday's contests with the Islanders, but that was enough to hang the loss on him, as the Devils were shut out. He's been great in net recently, allowing two or less goals in each of the last four games. He'll look to continue that streak Monday against the Kings.

Schneider made 27 saves in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Islanders. He allowed two goals. This guy has had an outstanding statistical season -- other than wins, of course -- so he's a must-target next season. Until then, he's going to deliver you strong counting stats, so roll away.

Schneider will start Saturday's game against the Islanders. With back-to-back tilts on tap, Schneider, who blanked the Penguins on Tuesday, will give way to Keith Kinkaid in Friday's road game against the Sabres.

Schneider denied all 35 shots he faced to capture his fifth shutout of the season Tuesday against the Penguins. The Devils were outshot in every period and by a 35-19 margin for the game, but Schneider answered the bell every time, just as he has practically all season. Despite ranking second in the league with 61 appearances, Schneider hasn't shown any signs of fatigue; in fact, he's gotten even stronger since the All-Star break. Over his last three games, Schneider has let in just two pucks while posting a .978 save percentage.

Schneider is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Penguins, Tom Gulitti of the Bergen Record reports. Schneider, who has allowed just one goal in each of his last two turns, will take aim Tuesday at a Pittsburgh squad that has dropped two straight contests (to Boston and Detroit) by a combined tally of 7-1.
