Schneider made 31 saves Friday, but allowed the game-winning goal 2:46 into overtime to take a 3-2 loss to the Bruins. The loss didn't come without controversy, as Schneider acknowledged after the game that he felt the Bruins' second goal should have been disallowed after Chris Kelly impeded Schneider's path to the puck with the stick. Even though the referees didn't see things from Schneider's perspective, he still turned in another credible outing in defeat, delivering a save percentage above .900 for the 15th straight game. Schneider, who saw a four-game winning streak come to an end Friday, will get a quick opportunity to bounce back, as the Devils announced after the game that he would start Saturday against the Blue Jackets with backup Keith Kinkaid (groin) still unavailable.

Schneider will start Friday's game against the Bruins and is likely to get the nod Saturday against the Blue Jackets as well, Rich Chere of the Newark Star-Ledger reports. Schneider has been playing at an extremely high level for the last two months, and with the Devils still hanging on the periphery of the wild-card race, he should be used frequently down the stretch. Assuming Schneider doesn't face an overly taxing workload or suffer a bad loss Friday, expect him to start both ends of the back-to-back.

Schneider allowed two goals on 25 shots in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Flames. Schneider continued his recent stretch of solid play, but his team couldn't pull out another win for him. He continues to lead the NHL with 53 appearances on the season, and is one of the top fantasy netminders based on his frequent use.

Schneider will be in the crease for Wednesday's game against the Flames, NHL.com's Mike Morreale reports. He'll be backed up by Scott Clemmensen, as typical understudy Keith Kinkaid (groin) will be unavailable. Neither Kinkaid nor Clemmensen pose much of a threat to poach starts from Schneider, as the netminder will make his league-leading 53rd appearance of the season Wednesday. He's been spectacular since the calendar flipped to 2015, going 10-4-1 with a .944 save percentage over 17 outings.

Schneider turned aside all 38 shots he faced in Monday's 3-0 win over the Coyotes. Schneider was able to continue his recent run of strong outings as he notched his third shutout of the year. The netminder is riding a three game winning streak, and has allowed just four goals total in his last four outings (including one relief appearance). Schneider has suffered the third most losses of any goaltender, but he still sports an impressive 2.22 GAA and .926 save percentage.

Schneider will start in net Monday against the Coyotes, Rich Chere of The Star-Ledger reports. Schneider was forced into action Saturday in relief of the injured Kieth Kinkaid. He will get the start Monday, and hopefully the club won't need its backup as Kinkaid didn't take part in morning skate.

Schneider made 14 saves in relief Saturday after starter Keith Kinkaid was forced from the game due to injury.Kinkaid's departure was precautionary -- he had felt something in his lower leg, but should be ready to backup Schneider on Monday. So much for a night off for Schneider -- he's one of the busiest goalies in the NHL.

Schneider stopped 21 of 23 shots in Friday's win over Vancouver. It was the 50th start of the season for Schneider, who picked up his fourth win in seven games. While he's picked up a few losses of late, the 28-year-old has allowed two goals or less in 10 of his last 11 outings. With a .924 save percentage and 2.27 GAA, Schneider is simply a must-start every game.

Schneider will start Friday's game against the Canucks. The start will be the 50th of the season for Schneider, who last gave way to Keith Kinkaid on Feb. 7. Given that New Jersey plays again on Saturday against Carolina, it's possible that the team turns to Kinkaid in that contest.

Schneider stopped 24 of 25 pucks in Tuesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Sabres, ending his three-game losing skid. You'd like to see the Devils do a better job on an awful team like Buffalo, but despite Schneider's strong performance, it took a shootout for them to sneak away with the win. He's played well consistently, but the Devils have scored exactly one goal during regulation (and overtime) play in each of his last four starts.
