Corey Crawford defended 29 of 30 shots against the Red Wings in a 2-1 overtime victory Sunday night.
Crawford could be on the verge of becoming one of the most valuable commodities in fantasy hockey if he can manage to be even average in goal thanks to his being surrounded by an incredible supporting cast. He now holds a perfect 5-0-0 record on the season.

Corey Crawford did just enough in Chicago's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets on Saturday night.
He made 24 saves in his fourth win of the year. After a down 2011-12 season (2.72 goals-against average and .903 save percentage), it was hard to count on Crawford this season. But he's been much improved this season (eight goals allowed) and is a solid play as the Hawks stay hot.

Corey Crawford will start in Saturday's game against Columbus.
Crawford has a 1.98 GAA and .923 save percentage in three starts this season. Obviously, it's risky to try and read into a sample size that small, but so far he's rebounding nicely from his sophomore slump.

Goalie Corey Crawford blocked 21 of 23 shots to help the Chicago Blackhawks defeat the Stars 3-2 in overtime in Dallas Thursday night.
Crawford improved to 3-0 in the young NHL season and has a goals-against average of 2.00 -- not bad, especially when you consider his inconsistency last season.

Corey Crawford stopped 32 of the 34 shots he faced in Chicago's 3-2 win over St. Louis on Tuesday night.
After disappointing last year, Crawford is off to a great start. He has outplayed Jonathan Quick and Brian Elliott, two of last year's best Western Conference goalies, in his first two appearances this year. He is showing signs of being a reliable fantasy goaltender. Owners should be pleased with the results so far.

Corey Crawford will be back in net for the Chicago Blackhawks in Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Blues.
Crawford made 21 saves and allowed two goals in the season opener against the Kings on Saturday. Ray Emery got the start in Sunday's contest against Phoenix and allowed four goals on 29 shots. Crawford's job is by no means iron clad, but he has a clear edge over Emery at the moment.

Corey Crawford is happy with the way he played in the season opener.
The Blackhawks goalie made 21 saves and gave up two goals in the win over the Kings. He was a big disappointment last year, and his mindset is key to a bounce back year. "That's the best start you can ask for, for a first game like that," Crawford said. "All around everyone battled hard and it was just a solid game. I was seeing the puck really well and was focused. On scrambles I felt like I was following the puck well and moving side to side."

Corey Crawford saved 19 of 21 shots in Chicago's 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.
Crawford will have to stay sharp if he wants to maintain the starting job over Ray Emery this season. With Chicago scheduled to play again on Sunday, Emery is expected to get the nod.

Corey Crawford and Ray Emery will split all the back-to-back games this season according to coach Joel Quenneville.
The Blackhawks play 12 back-to-back games as the NHL has a compressed schedule in which Chicago will play 48 games in 99 days, so both netminders will get plenty of action this season. Crawford was mediocre last season and will look to rebound but Quenneville said that he will likely go with the hot hand, so Emery has an opportunity to steal the job from Crawford. That being said, we are looking for Crawford to show his rookie form when he was one of the top goaltenders in the NHL, rather than his less than stellar performance of last season.
