Corey Crawford will play between the pipes on Friday.
Crawford will attempt to extend Chicago's historic points streak to 25 games (or 31 if you include the end of the 2011-12 campaign). He has a 1.53 GAA and .940 save percentage in 14 starts this season.

Corey Crawford turned aside 20 of 23 shots in Chicago's 5-3 win over Minnesota on Tuesday night.
It was a rather sub-par performance for Crawford, who has been stellar so far this season. He's earned wins in six of his past seven starts, allowing just nine goals in that stretch. He has ascended into top fantasy goaltender status, and there is no reason to believe he'll slow down so long as Chicago remains almost unbeatable.

Corey Crawford was the first off the ice at Tuesday's morning skate and is the likely starter tonight.
Crawford had a stellar return from injury Sunday, stopping 32 out of 33 shots in a 2-1 shootout win over Detroit. Ray Emery also played very well while Crawford was sidelined, but it appears he will return to his role as the backup. Crawford should be started in all formats regardless of opponent.

Corey Crawford had a great return from what looked like a very brief upper-body injury on Sunday, helping the Chicago Blackhawks earn a 2-1 shootout win against the Detroit Red Wings.
Crawford stopped 32 out of 33 shots to improve his record to 10-0-3. Crawford has stopped 111 of the last 114 shots he's seen since Feb. 10.

Corey Crawford will be in goal for the Blackhawks when they take on Detroit Sunday afternoon.
There was concern that Crawford had suffered a re-aggravation of the upper body injury that kept him out of the lineup earlier this season, but he appears good to go for this big divisional matchup. Ray Emery will resume his role as the primary backup.

Corey Crawford is "fine," according to coach Joel Quenneville, but Ray Emery will receive the start in net Friday night.
Crawford left at the end of the first period on Thursday with an upper-body injury. "He didn't seem too bad after the game and he was fine this morning so he's good to go," Quenneville said. Emery is 8-0-0 with a 1.92 goals-against average and .931 save percentage on the year.

Corey Crawford departed at the end of the first period on Thursday night with an upper-body injury.
The netminder appeared to almost lose his balance and nearly fall forward as he came out of the net at the end of the first. "I don't think there was a defining moment or blow," Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said. Crawford missed four games for an upper-body injury earlier in the month, but Quenneville said this injury is unrelated. He is day to day for now.

Corey Crawford was replaced by Ray Emery at the start of the second period in Thursday's game against the Blues.
Crawford stopped all six shots he faced in the first period and held a 1-0 advantage after the frame, but didn't come out of the locker room to begin the second. There is no word on the reason for Crawford's absence, but it's reasonable to think he may have re-aggravated the upper body injury that kept him out of the lineup for 12 days earlier in the month. We'll pass along more information as it becomes available.

Corey Crawford will start for Chicago Thursday night versus St. Louis.
He pitched a 28-save shutout win against Columbus in his first game back from an upper-body injury this past Sunday. The Hawks are the best team in the league right now and Crawford has been a very pleasant surprise for fantasy owners who took a chance on him at the start of the year.

Corey Crawford notched his second shutout of the season as Chicago took down Columbus on Sunday night 1-0.
Crawford didn't miss a beat after being out the last 12 days with an upper-body injury, making 28 saves. With an 8-0-3 record, 1.65 goals-against average and .935 save percentage, Crawford has emerged as a rock-solid number-one option in fantasy leagues this year. Enjoy it.
