Crawford made 24 saves in a 3-2 loss to the the Maple Leafs.
It's his first game after the return from injury, but he didn't look rusty. Get him back in there if you have him on your bench.

Crawford has been confirmed as the Blackhawks' starter in goal Saturday versus the Maple Leafs, Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago reports.
Crawford will be making his first appearance since Oct. 18, with the upper-body injury finally behind him. He has yet to take a regulation defeat in his four starts this season, entering play Saturday with a 3-0-1 record and 1.66 GAA.

Crawford was the first goalie off the ice at Saturday's morning skate and looks primed to start against the Maple Leafs, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports.
After he was scratched for five games while nursing an upper-body injury, Crawford was deemed healthy enough to back up Scott Darling on Thursday's game against Ottawa. While he didn't see the ice in the contest, Crawford hasn't endured any setbacks while practicing since that time. Roll him with confidence against the Leafs, who could be a bit exhausted after playing their second game in as many nights.

Crawford (upper body) is expected to be in goal on Saturday for the Hawks against Toronto, the Game 88.7 FM in Chicago reports.
Crawford has missed the last six games and the Blackhawks have been conservative in sending him out. If this was later in the season and a game countered toward seeds or the playoffs, Crawford would not have missed all six games. Crawford has only faced Toronto three times in his career and has a 2-0-0 record, but a 3.00 goals against average and a .889 save percentage against the Maple Leafs.

Crawford (upper body) took part in Tuesday's morning skate but is unlikely to play Tuesday night, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Crawford was feeling good enough to take the ice Tuesday, but it appears he will miss at least one more game, as Scott Darling was the first goalie off the ice following Tuesday's morning skate. While Crawford will likely miss his fifth straight game Tuesday night, it appears he will have a chance to return for Chicago's next game Thursday.

Crawford (upper body) could get the start Tuesday night against the Ducks, CSN Chicago reports.
Crawford has missed the last four games with the upper-body injury, but has practiced since Saturday. This would be a good spot for a Crawford return in a battle between two of the better Western Conference teams. When starting, Crawford has had good success against the Ducks with a record of 7-4-1 with a 1.97 goals-against average against Anaheim.

Crawford (upper body) could return this week, but will be reevaluated Monday, ESPN Chicago reports.
Crawford didn't join the Blackhawks on their road trip last week and skated on his own Saturday in Chicago. Scott Darling started the back end of back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday in his place. It's unclear when exactly he will return at this point, but Monday's evaluation should shed a little more light on the situation.

Crawford (upper body), who skated at Saturday's practice and could skate at Sunday's practice, is not expected to be in goal Sunday against the Senators, Blackhawks' coach Joel Quenneville told CSN Chicago.
With not being in goal on Sunday, Crawford will have missed four goals in a row. The good news is that he is practicing so there is probably a good chance he will be in goal in a good test at home against Anaheim on Tuesday. If Crawford faces the Ducks, he has a 7-4-1 record in 12 games started in his career against Anaheim with a 2.02 goals against average and a .921 save percentage.

Crawford (upper body) skated on his own Saturday back in Chicago and is expected to do so again Sunday, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports.
The Blackhawks haven't ruled Crawford out from playing when the team returns home for Sunday's game against the Senators, but it seems highly unlikely that coach Joel Quenneville would turn to Crawford just a day after he returned to the ice. Instead, it's expected that No. 3 goalie Scott Darling will step in to make the start Sunday, with Crawford on track to return for the game after that on Tuesday versus the Ducks.

Coach Joel Quenneville said Thursday that Crawford (upper body) could begin skating in the next day or two, CSNChicago.com's Tracey Myers reports.
The Blackhawks continue to view Crawford's upper-body injury as short-term concern, with the team only ruling him out for their next two games thus far. With Crawford unavailble Thursday, Antti Raanta will make the start against the Predators. Raanta or call-up Scott Darling would then be called upon to man the net in the final game of the Blackhawks' road trip, which will take place Saturday in St. Louis.
