"It's an area where he's showing maturity where he's bringing it every day." Wilson is a highly regarded prospect who had 34 points last season. Fifty points is not out of the question this season.

Colin Wilson logged 18:27 minutes of playing time in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the New Jersey Devils. After four games, Wilson is averaging 15:57 minutes per contest. While that's not great, it's still a significant step up from the 13:18 minutes per game he played in 2010-11. Wilson had 34 points in 82 games last season, but his production should increase with his ice time. We can see him reaching the 50-point mark in 2011-12.

Chris Mueller also scored for Nashville while Niclas Bergfors picked up a pair of helpers in the win. Pekka Rinne and Jeremy Smith combined to earn a shutout for the Predators while Michal Neuvirth went the distance for Washington in a losing effort.
