Colin Wilson skated on a line with Mike Fisher and Martin Erat during Sunday's practice. Wilson has spent the majority of the playoffs in the press box, but Predators coach Barry Trotz is looking to shake things up with his team down 3-1 in their second round series. "He's played well. I'm basing it on play," Trotz said. "Right now I just feel he's played really well when he's gone in and is making things happen. He didn't have just one good game. He had two really good games here in Nashville."

Colin Wilson has now played in back-to-back playoff games after being a healthy scratch in the first six contests. Wilson has changed his game around and is now defensively sound as he is not taking as many risks offensively. "He created some chances, he was good defensively, he had lots of detail and he's a big strong body," coach Barry Trotz said. "He did a lot for going forward here." Look for Wilson to remain in the lineup for Game 4 Friday.

Colin Wilson saw the ice for the first time since April 7 in Game 2 of the Predators' second-round series. It was the first time he's played all postseason. Wilson had 15 goals and 35 points in the regular season and played 9:04 with a shot on goal in Game 2. "He made a couple of good plays," coach Barry Trotz said. "I knew he'd be a little rusty, with the pace of the game. . But defensively, he did a pretty good job, and offensively, he got a couple of chances. So I can't say he was excellent, but he wasn't too bad." Trotz is said to be considering lineup changes for Game 3, but it looks like Wilson is someone who could stick.

Colin Wilson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks. He has a groin muscle pull that may sideline him for Sunday's contest. Play it safe and place Wilson on reserve.

Colin Wilson, who was a healthy scratch for the first time on Thursday, thinks the Predators want him to improve on the defensive part of his game. Wilson has 15 goals and 34 points in 63 games this season and has shown more consistency on the offensive side as he has not gone more than four games without garnering a point. "I guess I have to play both sides of the puck, that's about the only thing I can really take from it," Wilson said. "I guess I can track a little bit better and pay more attention to detail on the forecheck, but aside from that they didn't really say too much." The Red Wings are in town Saturday so we shall see if Wilson draws back into the lineup.

Colin Wilson's play has been more consistent this season. Wilson had an up and down 2010-11 season that culminated in his being benched for the first seven games of the playoffs. He showed glimpses of brilliance at times and ended the season with 16 goals and 34 points but was invisible at other times. He had streaks of six, eight and nine games without a point. His longest pointless streak this season has been four games. "I've learned you've just got to remember there's 82 games and there's going to be stretches where you're not scoring well," Wilson said. "You've just got to make those stretches smaller and smaller." He is worth picking up in deeper pools and in keeper leagues as he has a lot of offensive upside.

Colin Wilson potted a goal in the Predators' 3-2 shootout loss to the St. Louis Blues Thursday night. Wilson, just 22 years old, has decent potential, and continues to progress from his 34-point rookie campaign. With 13 goals and 31 points in 57 games this season, he should be able to easily surpass his totals from last year. Wilson should be in someone's fantasy lineup in deeper pools as well as keeper leagues.
