While he may have struggled in the closing weeks of the season, the center recorded career highs with 17 goals and 23 assists. Depending on his the rest of the Sharks' lineup shakes out heading into 2018-19 -- they have a number of unrestricted free agents including Joe Thornton (knee) and Evander Kane -- the 23-year-old could slide into a top-six role next year.

Tierney picked up an assist in Monday's 8-1 dismantling of the Kings.

Tierney sees power-play time and produces steadily enough to be warrant a look in some deep leagues.

Tierney recorded a goal, an assist, four shots and a plus-2 rating through 17:40 of ice time during Monday's 4-1 win over Los Angeles.

EDGE Analysis

Tierney has now collected three goals, three assists and 16 shots through his past six contests. He's locked into a supporting role for the Sharks, and is firmly behind Joe Thornton and Logan Couture up the middle. However, he's currently clicking with Joonas Donskoi and Mikkel Boedker on the third line and skating with the No. 2 power-play unit, so Tierney does offer modest value in deeper fantasy settings. Still, expectations should remain in check.

Tierney garnered an assist in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Coyotes.
