Tierney returned from illness Saturday and logged 11:46 in a 4-3 overtime win.
EDGE Analysis
He was pretty invisible to be honest. No shots, even on the power play, and just a 40 percent winning percentage in the face off dot. The flu can take a lot out of anyone who gets it, pro hockey players included. It may take a couple more days for Tierney to get his strength back. However, you can put him back in your lineup if he's a better option than what you've got there now.

Tierney (illness) will skate Saturday against Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Tierney's return was expected, and he's already had success against Edmonton this year, making him a potential value play in daily leagues for Saturday's contest.

Tierney (illness) is on track to return against Edmonton on Saturday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tierney had a goal in his first meeting against the Oilers this year, and his recent five-game point streak suggests that he's back on track after slumping through most of February. He's a solid option in deep formats.

Tierney (flu) will not play Thursday in Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
In Tierney's place, Vitaly Abramov will be making his NHL debut. Tierney should be good to return to his top-six spot Saturday in Edmonton, but we'll await confirmation of that following Thursday night's contest.

Tierney provided a power-play assist in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
The helper gave Tierney a five-game point streak, during which he's collected two goals and three assists. Tierney's first season in Ottawa has been a success, as he's extended his career high to 46 points (nine goals, 37 helpers) in 73 contests. He's been a rewarding depth addition for fantasy owners that can cover his minus-18 rating.

Tierney scored a goal Thursday in a 4-2 loss to the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
The goal snapped an 18-game drought. But the point pushed Tierney to a new career mark in points (41) in just 64 games. He has a shot to clear 50 this year and is valuable in deep formats.

Tierney dished out two helpers to go with a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 4-0 win over Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
Tierney's quietly putting together a career season, as he's already just five points shy of last year's career-high 40 in 28 fewer games. Only six of his 35 points have been goals, though, as the former Shark is converting on a career-low 7.1 percent of his shots. Considering Tierney more than doubled that rate at 14.4 percent with San Jose last season, there's some buy-low potential to be found with the 24-year-old center.

Tierney scored a pair of goals, including the go-ahead marker, in a 4-1 win over Los Angeles on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Tierney has now scored five points in his past three games and seems to have rediscovered the form that made him a solid option at the year's beginning. If you're looking for help in daily leagues, he's not a bad option at the moment.

Tierney notched two assists, one on the power play, in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old had only two helpers in his prior nine games, but he was able to recapture his early-season form again for at least one night. Tierney now has four goals and 26 points through 43 games, and he's already tied his previous career high with seven power-play points (all helpers) on the year.

Tierney registered a pair of goals in Friday's 4-2 road win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin had his stick broken on a shot attempt, and that created an instant odd-man rush for Tierney and assist-man Ryan Dzingel. Tierney would end up with another goal -- his fifth of the season -- with the net empty and only 18 seconds remaining in the contest. Packaged from San Jose in the Erik Karlsson trade, the Senators rely heavily on Tierney in special teams situations, and he's being utilized more than ever (17:20 on average) since the Eastern Conference club doesn't have nearly the amount of offensive weapons as Team Teal.
