Kreider scored two goals in a 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
His first stood as the winner. Kreider tapped in a cross-crease pass from Mika Zibanejad while on a delayed penalty in second period. He also put in an empty-net goal. Kreider has five goals and 16 shots in five games this season. The 33-year-old has scored 127 regular-season goals since he turned 30. Kreider is one of those rare late bloomers whose skills will dry up fast some day. But there's no sign of that in his game right now.

Kreider missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today.
EDGE Analysis
Kreider has three goals through three games this season. If he's unavailable Thursday versus Detroit, then Will Cuylle, who is off to a great start with a goal and three points in three contests, might get a shot on the top six.

Kreider scored a power-play goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Monday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Kreider redirected a Mika Zibanejad shot into the net at 17:05 of the second period. That goal stood as the game-winner. Through three games, Kreider has scored a goal at every strength (one each on the power play, shorthanded and at even strength) while adding nine shots on net and four hits. The winger offers upside in goals, power-play points, shots and hits as a physical two-way forward on the Rangers' top line.

Kreider scored two goals, one shorthanded, in Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran winger flipped home a rebound from the slot just before the end of the first period for his first tally of the season. Kreider then scooped up a loose puck in his own zone in the third and went the distance to beat Tristan Jarry for a shortie, giving the Rangers a 5-0 lead. Kreider fell just shy of his second career 40-goal campaign in 2023-24, but he's off to a quick start this season to try and reach that mark.

Kreider scored a shorthanded goal and added a helper in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Florida in Game 5.
EDGE Analysis
Kreider registered his first points of the series in Thursday's home loss. The 33-year-old has cooled down significantly after recording 10 points in as many games across the first two rounds of the postseason. In addition to the multi-point effort in Game 5, Kreider had four shots on goal, four hits and a plus-1 rating in 22:04 of ice time. New York will need Kreider at the top of his game if they want to avoid elimination in Game 6 on Saturday. The first-line winger is tied for the team lead in goals during the postseason with eight. He's also added four assists and a minus-4 rating in 15 outings.

Kreider scored a natural hat trick in Thursday's 5-3 win over Carolina in Game 6.
EDGE Analysis
Kreider was stellar Thursday night, providing three consecutive goals in the final frame to help the Rangers advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. New York's captain jammed home a loose puck at the side of the net to put the Rangers within one in the third period. He then deflected a shot from Artemi Panarin past Carolina's Frederik Andersen to tie the game for New York. Kreider completed the comeback by netting the game-winning goal on a beautiful pass from Ryan Lindgren behind the net. Kreider finished the series against Carolina with seven points (five goals) in six outings despite failing to find the scoresheet in his previous two contests.

Kreider (undisclosed) told reporters he would be in action versus the Hurricanes for Game 6 on Thursday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kreider didn't play it coy like coach Peter Laviolette, clearly telling reporters that he would be in the lineup Thursday. Through the first five games of this series, the 33-year-old winger has generated two goals and two assists, including three power-play points. Even with concerns about a potential minor injury, Kreider remains a top-end fantasy target heading into Game 6.

Kreider, who took a maintenance day Wednesday, is not a lock to suit up against Carolina in Game 6 on Thursday, though coach Peter Laviolette said it was "a real positive" that Kreider skated Thursday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kreider's potential absence could be nothing more than playoff head games being played by the Rangers bench boss, but unfortunately, fantasy players will need to monitor the situation ahead of warmups. In nine playoff appearances, the 33-year-old Kreider has generated four goals and three assists, including three power-play points. If Kreider can't go in Game 6, Will Cuylle could be shifted into a top-six role.

Kreider was on the ice for three goals against in Monday's 4-1 loss to Carolina in Game 5.
EDGE Analysis
It was a forgettable night for Kreider as he failed to register a point and went minus-3 in the clash. No other Rangers player was on the ice for more than two goals against in Monday's defeat. After starting the postseason with points in six of seven games, Kreider has now failed to find the scoresheet in consecutive contests. The 33-year-old did have two shots on goal and four hits in 18:51 of ice time in his latest tilt. Kreider and the Rangers will have another chance to eliminate the Hurricanes in Game 6 on Thursday.
