Coyle skated alongside Zach Parise during Wednesday's practice. It's not clear who would round out that line given that Dany Heatley and Justin Fontaine both spent time on that line during parts of the morning skate.

Charlie Coyle (knee) is likely to return on Friday, according to Minnesota Wild GM Chuck Fletcher.
Coyle has been sidelined for 11 straight games because of the injury. The Wild have already waived Stephane Veilleux in preparation for Coyle's return.

He is getting closer to a return, though, There is talk that Coyle could be ready to play Friday against Montreal.

He wore a knee brace and said he felt good after the session. However, he still has some work to do before he gets clearance to return and is probably a week or longer away from playing.

Coyle isn't projected to return until next week at the earliest. He has two penalty minutes and a minus-two rating in two games this season.

He's slated to be sidelined for three to four weeks with a sprained knee. Coyle was injured last Saturday against Anaheim. He has no points and six shots in two appearances this year.

Charlie Coyle is expected to miss three to four weeks with a sprained knee.
He sustained the ailment late in the second period of Saturday's game against Anaheim when he was checked by Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano. Coyle won the team's second-line center spot out of training camp, so his loss from the lineup will hurt a Wild team that has started the 2013-14 campaign with a 0-0-2 record.

Charlie Coyle's lower-body injury isn't "gravely serious," according to Wild coach Mike Yeo.
Coyle sustained the ailment during Saturday's game. He's doubtful for Tuesday's game and should be regarded as day-to-day beyond that.

Charlie Coyle suffered a lower-body injury in the second period Saturday night.
Coyle was hurt on a check from the Ducks' Andrew Cogliano. He played 9:16 and had two shots on net. The Wild have very high hopes for their 21-year-old forward.
