Charlie Coyle's play has slowed considerably since a promising start to the season. Coyle is one of the more highly-touted prospects in the Minnesota organization, though he is often overshadowed by the electrifying Mikael Granlund. After notching an assist in Sunday's tilt with the Rockford IceHogs he now has 11 points in 16 games.

Charlie Coyle scored two goals in Houston's 4-0 victory versus Milwaukee on Saturday. Coyle has five goals and six points in seven AHL contests in 2012-13. After being selected in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, this is Coyle's first season playing at the AHL.

Charlie Coyle has signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Minnesota Wild. The highly touted prospect is currently playing in the QMJHL with Saint John Sea Dogs after he began the year with Boston University. With the Sea Dogs, he has racked up 12 goals and 12 assists in 16 games. The former first-round pick of San Jose in the 2010 draft was acquired by the Wild in the trade that sent Brent Burns to the Sharks.
