Coyle scored his fourth goal of the season and added an assist in Thursday's win over the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle has scored in back-to-back games and is up to 17 points (four goals) in 25 games on the season. The 25-year-old is having a hard time finding twine after netting 18 goals in 2016-17, but he's still producing offense at a solid rate. Coyle has been shooting more, though, so he could be worth taking a chance on right now.

Coyle dished out a pair of assists in Wednesday's win over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
After a four-game pointless drought during the middle of December, Coyle has gotten back on track with five assists in his last five games. The second-line winger has scored just twice this season, but his 14 points through 21 contests make him valuable in deeper formats. He missed significant time with a fractured fibula, but we were expecting more from a guy who put up consecutive seasons in the 20-goal range. Coyle has barely shot the puck this season, but that's starting to change, so look for him to start padding the goal column soon.

Coyle contributed an even-strength assist, a power-play assist and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's wild 6-4 win at Ottawa.
EDGE Analysis
A fractured fibula has limited Coyle to only 18 appearances, but it's still surprising that this was his first multi-point effort of the season. The 25-year-old forward finished with 18 goals and 56 points last year, so expect him to pick up the pace before long.

Coyle scored his first goal of the season and had three shots on goal in 17:29 of ice time in Saturday's loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle has a goal and an assist in four games since returning from a broken leg. He's also getting significant time on the power play as well (1:48 per game over those four games).

Coyle (leg) participated in warmups while skating on the fourth line and will return Monday against New Jersey, Sarah McLellan of the Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old has been held out since Oct. 12 with his ailment, and it appears head coach Bruce Boudreau will ease Coyle back into the lineup since he's only played three games this season. The return comes about a week before the original 6-to-8 week timetable that was given when he got injured, and with his presence Chris Stewart will be a healthy scratch. Coyle set a career high in 2016-17 with 62 points in 82 games, but don't expect the points to start rolling in until he resumes his usual top-six duties.

Coyle (leg) may be nearing a return. Coach Bruce Boudreau said, "He's coming along. He's going to play this week at some point - dont know if it's tonight...this weekend, we'll see."
EDGE Analysis
The Wild have games on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. If Boudreau is to be believed, Coyle will be playing in at least one of those games. Coyle has only played in three games this season, so it may take him a little while to get back into the swing of things once he finally takes the ice.

Coyle returned to team practice Tuesday, marking the first time he has skated with the Wild since breaking his leg on Oct. 12, Megan Ryan of the Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
While this is certainly a positive development for Coyle, coach Bruce Boudreau was quick to point out that there is still no timetable for the forward's return at the moment. The Massachusetts native is still very much on the early side of the 6-to-8 week recovery time that was originally set out for him when he sustained the injury, so fantasy owners can take solace in the fact that he at least appears to be on schedule, if not ahead of it.

Coyle suffered a broken fibula in Thursday's meeting with Chicago and is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks.
EDGE Analysis
The Wild have already placed Coyle on long-term IR in order to free up a spot on the 23-man roster -- in addition to added cap relief. Prior to getting hurt, the winger registered his second point of the 2017-18 campaign, but will now have to wait a while for his third. Given the plethora of injuries in Minnesota, the team will likely need to call-up a player (or two) from AHL Iowa to help replace Coyle.

Coyle (undisclosed) won't be available Saturday against Columbus, Michael Russo of TheAthletic.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle suffered his injury when he took a shot off the back of his right leg during Thursday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks. The Wild are extremely banged up at forward right now, as Marcus Foligno, Nino Niederreiter, Zach Parise, Mikael Granlund and Mason Shaw are all currently dealing with ailments of their own, so the team will likely be shorthanded up front against the Blue Jackets. Minnesota should release a more definite timetable for Coyle's recovery in the coming days.

Coyle was held off of the scoresheet in Sunday's 5-1 preseason loss to Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Although Coyle didn't register any points Sunday, he still logged three hits and had one shot on goal. After recording a career high 56 points in the 2016-17 season, Coyle is one of the more promising young forwards in Minnesota. If the 25-year-old can eliminate the cold streaks that plagued him in the 2016-17 season, he has a great chance of eclipsing the 60-point mark for the first time in his career.
