Coyle will make his Bruins debut Saturday against the Blues, reportedly centering Peter Cehlarik and David Backes on the third line.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle was traded from the Wild on Thursday for Ryan Donato and a conditional fifth-round draft pick. Coyle is certainly capable of playing center -- he was temporarily plugged into that spot when Minnesota captain Mikko Koivu sustained a season-ending concussion -- and we're also expecting Coyle to assume responsibilities on the No. 2 power-play unit. Boston runs the league's second-best power play at 26.5 percent, so consider streaming Coyle as a sneaky fantasy option with his new team.

Coyle is officially a member of the Bruins after Wednesday's trade with the Wild for Ryan Donato and a conditional fifth-round draft pick.
EDGE Analysis
This trade very well could take Coyle out of a top-six forward position in Boston, but the Bruins run the league's second-best power play at 26.5 percent, plus the Original Six club is 12 spots above the Wild in total offense for the season. As a result, Coyle could see a bit of a boost in offensive production; he's garnered 10 goals and 18 assists through 60 games this season.

The Wild will trade Coyle to the Bruins in exchange for Ryan Donato and a fifth-round pick Wednesday, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports, adding that the deal is pending an official trade call.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle's contract, which is valued at $3.2 million annually, will expire after the 2019-20 season. While he didn't tip the scales in fantasy leagues by averaging 0.51 points per game over parts of seven seasons in Minnesota, Coyle should be an important role player for the Bruins as he's adept in special teams situations and adds tremendous size at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, not to mention having the ability of lining up at center or at right wing.

The Wild appear to be on the verge of trading Coyle, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The trade partner has yet to be determined, but Coyle reportedly won't travel with the Wild to New York for Thursday's game against the Rangers as the clear sign that he's going to end up with another team shortly. We'll circle back once we get an official report on where he lands.

Coyle has just two points while averaging 17:41 of ice time in his past 10 games.
EDGE Analysis
While his team struggles to find the win column, the first-line winger has gone cold in the month of February. It's not for a lack of opportunity, as Coyle has averaged 1:21 of power-play ice time. The Massachusetts native has averaged just under two shots on goal per game, so that could explain some of his recent struggles.

Coyle produced a game-winning goal Monday, with the Wild sneaking past the Golden Knights, 4-2.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle's garnered a point in back-to-back games, and he's clearly benefiting from his latest top-line assignment with Jordan Greenway and Eric Staal. It seems like no one ever talks about Coyle, yet he has as many points (24) as teammate Jason Zucker and one more than Capitals forward T.J Oshie, for example.

Coyle produced a goal and an assist Thursday in a 4-3 road win over the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle opened the scoring for the Wild and helped the team rally back from a 2-0 deficit, and then he was the lone distributor on Zach Parise's tally in the third. That gives the American winger 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) through 39 games of the 2018-19 campaign. He's not an exciting fantasy option, but there have been worse ideas than streaming him as a No. 4 fantasy forward.

Coyle lit the lamp shorthanded to complement a power-play assist in Tuesday's 7-1 home rout over the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle was among six Minnesota skaters to have recorded a multi-point effort in the thrashing over the Habs. He's now produced five goals, nine assists and a tidy-plus-6 rating on the season. There are far more exciting fantasy options out there, and it took Coyle 30 games to secure his first power-play point, but it's worth noting that he's currently situated on the second line with proven producers in Zach Parise and Nino Niederreiter.

Coyle opened the scoring for the Wild in their 4-3 home loss to the Coyotes on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Coyle's goal was nothing fancy -- we're talking about a simple tip-in off a lateral dish from captain Mikko Koivu -- but the tally did move the brawny forward back to a half-point-per-game pace for the season. Still, even though Coyle has four goals and eight assists through 24 games, he's only collected one point (a goal) on the man advantage, which is particularly disappointing given that he's averaging a career-high 2:33 of ice time in that special teams situation.

Coyle recorded an even-strength assist in Saturday's 5-1 road win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
The brawny forward slid the puck over to defenseman Nick Seeler, who rifled a shot from the left point for his first career goal. Coyle has a pair of goals and five helpers through 13 games this season -- which is a nice complement to his plus-4 rating -- but only once has he produced offense in consecutive games. Coyle does have a safe floor in fantasy games, though he remains a questionable tournament play in DFS since he rarely goes off for two points or more in a given contest.
