Carl Soderberg registered a goal and picked up two helpers in Boston's win over Nashville on Monday. He earned an assist in his previous game to give some confidence entering the break. Prior to that, he had been going through a mini four-game scoring skid. Soderberg has accounted for five goals and 19 points in 31 games this year.

Carl Soderberg notched a goal and an assist Sunday against Toronto. His two-point effort snapped a five-game scoring drought and gave him 14 points in 24 games this season. Soderberg has averaged just 13:40 of ice time per game, while playing primarily on the Bruins' third line, but he does get some secondary power-play time which is where he scored against the Leafs.

Carl Soderberg contributed two assists in Boston's 4-3 overtime win against Pittsburgh. He has a goal and three helpers during his present three-game point streak and six points in his last five outing. Carl Soderberg is quietly turning into a productive offensive player despite playing on the Bruins' third line. In his last six games since returning from an injury Soderberg has taken 16 shots on goal (nine more than top center David Krejci) and has developed excellent chemistry with Reilly Smith. We don't normally recommend third-line players as pick ups, but if you have a very deep pool, you could do worse than Soderberg as an add on.

Carl Soderberg scored a goal and added an assist for the Bruins in Monday's 4-1 win over Carolina. Soderberg's role as a checker greatly limits his upside, but he may have some value in very deep formats. Milan Lucic, Johnny Boychuk and Reilly Smith all found the back of the net for Boston in the victory.

With the return to health of Carl Soderberg, the Bruins have finally been able to ice the third line they projected in training camp. Chris Kelly and Reilly Smith skate alongside Soderberg on the unit which has been very effecitve in Boston's last two games. Smith has a goal and two assists while Kelly and Soderberg each have a helper. We don't normally recommend third-line players, but if you had to pick forwards outisde of an NHL's team six, Boston might be the place to look.

Carl Soderberg made his season debut on Saturday after recovering from an ankle injury. Soderberg skated alongside Chris Kelly and Brad Marchand in Boston's 5-0 victory. "I've been playing with Kelly before (in the preseason) and I like to skate with him, and March is a great player," Soderberg said. "I thought we played really good together. Hopefully we can play some more together. We'll see." Soderberg had an assist and logged 14:15 minutes in his seventh career NHL game.

It is not clear if Carl Soderberg, who has been cleared to return to game action effective Saturday, will be in the lineup against the Lightning. Soderberg practised the past few days on the Bruins' third line and if he does dress Saturday it will likely be at the expense of Jordan Caron. It is also possible that Brad Marchand, who has been slumping of late, may be the odd man out. Stay tuned.
