Brandon Saad scored his fourth goal of the playoffs but it wasn't enough as the Chicago Blackhawks lost 5-2 in Game 4 Monday. Saad's goal cut the lead to 4-1 in the second period and Chicago got closer in the third when Bryan Bickell scored his seventh of the post-season with just over 10:30 left in the game but they could get no closer as Jonathan Quick shut the door. Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane an Michal Rozsival picked up assists in the losing effort.

Brandon Saad collected two points as the Chicago Blackhawks managed to grind out a 3-1 win against the Los Angeles Kings in Game 1 on Sunday. Saad scored a power-play goal and assisted on Duncan Keith's game-winner as Chicago managed to win a tough opening contest against Los Angeles. This series may very well come to talented depth players like Saad.

Brandon Saad potted a pair of goals in Sunday's 4-1 win over Minnesota. His markers ended a 19-game goalless drought, dating back to the regular season. Saad scored in the final minute of the second period and he added an empty netter late in the third. He has seven points and 11 shots in eight playoff games.

Brandon Saad had two assists in Chicago's 4-3 overtime loss on Saturday. Saad is now on a three-game point streak, dating back to the regular season. He has three assists in Chicago's first two playoff contests.

Brandon Saad will draw back into the Blackhawks' lineup on Wednesday. Saad spent Sunday's game in the press box, but Chicago still has high hopes for him. "He's a big part of our team; I liked how he practiced today," Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said on Tuesday. "He gives us a lot of intangibles. He brings skill to our lineup, has speed, he's dangerous off the rush, and heavy in the puck area. We can use him on both sides of the ice. He'll be useful as we go along here and it's one game, so let's move on and be excited about tomorrow's game." Saad has 45 points and 20 penalty minutes in 75 games in 2013-14.

Brandon Saad has taken it upon himself to help out Chicago newcomer Teuvo Teravainen. "Any questions he has, I'm young, but I've been through it," said Saad. "Rooming with him is definitely going to help out, especially playing on the same line to get some of that chemistry off the ice." Saad is only 21 years of age but he already has 119 games of NHL experience under his belt.

Chicago Blackhawks winger Brandon Saad will make his return on Sunday as they face the Nashville Predators. While Saad is back, the Blackhawks will be without Michal Rozsival and Bryan Bickell won't play tonight.

There is a possibility Brandon Saad could return to action Sunday against Nashville. He has missed the Hawks' last three games with an upper-body injury but it remains to be seen if he will be recovered in time to play Sunday night at the United Center. Consider Saad day-to-day for now.

Brandon Saad (upper body) is out Wednesday night. This will be Saad's second straight game on the sidelines. Chicago is hoping that Saad will be able to return on Friday instead.

Brandon Saad (upper body) might be available for Wednesday's game against St. Louis. Saad won't play Philadelphia on Tuesday though. He has 19 goals and 44 points in 68 games this season.
