Saad notched a goal and assist -- with both coming on the power play -- in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Canucks. With roughly two months to play, Saad is quickly encroaching on last season's total of 47 points. With two goals and three assists over his last four games, Saad has been able to accelerate his scoring pace and atone for a rather slow start to the season. As a result of Saad's uptick in production, coach Joel Quenneville has bestowed the winger with more ice time. He's exceeded his season average TOI in four of the last five contests.

Saad dished out a pair of assists in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Blues.
Saad broke out of a personal slump on Friday with his first goal in six games, and kept his play up with a multi-point effort to follow it up. The 22-year-old has slowed off of his pace a little bit, but with 35 points through 53 contests, he should be able to top his career-high of 47 from last season.

Saad buried the overtime winner Friday, notching his 16th of the year as the Blackhawks downed the Jets 2-1.
The snipe snaps a six-game goalless drought for Saad, who picked up just a measly single assist during that span. He's set to surpass his career-best goal total of 19 set last year, and if he can record 15 more points in the season's final 30 games, he'll outdo his personal best of 47 from last year in that department, as well.

Saad netted a pair of goals in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Stars.
Saad is on a four game point streak now, having potted five goals and adding an assist in that span. The 22-year-old is on pace to top the 50-point barrier for the first time of his career, and could be worthy of fantasy consideration if available.

Saad put home the only goals of the night for the Blackhawks in a 5-2 loss to the Oilers on Friday.
Both tallies were set up at even strength by linemates Marian Hossa and Jonathan Toews, who helped Saad to his 11th and 12th goals of the season. The Pittsburgh-native is up to 27 points in 42 games this season, putting him on pace to slightly best his career mark of 19 goals and 47 points set last year.

Saad potted one of five Chicago goals in a narrow win over the Stars on Sunday.
Saad hasn't quite submitted the star-making season some might have had him pegged for after a 47-point showing as a 21-year-old, but he certainly hasn't qualified as a disappointment. With a goal in three of his last four games, Saad is on track to surpass the 50-point mark while sitting on a plus-7 rating. There's value to be had in that outside of shallow formats.

Saad picked up an assist in Tuesday's loss to the Jets.
The assist marked Saad's first point in three games and just his third over the last eight contests. Thanks to a strong November, Saad is still on pace to surpass last season's total of 47 points, but his lack of offense of late certainly isn't an encouraging development.

Saad remained hot Saturday, extending his point streak to four games with a goal and an assist in a win over the Predators.
Saad continues to thrive on the top line with Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa, recording three goals, five points, and a plus-4 rating in his last four games. After a somewhat inconsistent start, Saad has found his groove, recording at least one point in all but six of his last 17 games. The 20-year-old is on track for a 20-goal, 60-point season and is worth a look right now, especially considering the fact the red-hot Hawks have won six straight games.

Saad scored the game-winning goal with 27 seconds left in regulation Friday against Montreal.
Saad is now riding a three-game point streak, compiling a goal, two assists, and a plus-2 rating in that span. Although he has been inconsistent at times, Saad has still delivered five goals and 17 points in 26 games on the season. With the Blackhawks having won eight of their last nine contests, picking up a top-six forward like Saad might not be a bad idea.

Saad picked up two assists and was a plus-3 in Saturday's win over the Oilers.
The top line of Saad, Jonathan Toews, and Marian Hossa was electric Saturday, combining for eight points in the win. After going through a brief rough patch, Saad has been consistently producing of late, recording two goals and eight points in his last 10 games. While his three goals on the season are somewhat disappointing, Saad is still on pace for almost 60 points and will start scoring more if he continues playing with Toews. A career year is in store for the rising 22-year-old.
