Saad had a goal and an assist in Thursday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Saad's strong effort was trumped by Scott Hartnell's hat trick, but still gave the winger four goals in his past four games. He's on pace for a second straight 30-goal season with the Blue Jackets after coming over from Chicago prior to the 2015-16 campaign.

Saad recorded two goals, one on the power play, in a 4-3 overtime victory over the Canucks on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The Pittsburgh native now has five goals and eight points in eight games this month. Since starting the season slowly, Saad has 11 goals and 24 points with a plus-13 rating in the last 25 games. And he hasn't even gotten going on the man advantage yet, as that was Saad's first power-play point of the season.

Saad earned a point for the fourth time in five games and posted a season-high nine shots on goal in the 3-2 victory over the Coyotes on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
His previous season high was seven shots on goal. Saad was one of six Blue Jackets skaters who registered at least five shots on goal, as Columbus recorded an incredible 60 shots on net (also a season high). Saad has been an all-around strong fantasy player through the first two months of the season. He has seven goals, 20 points, a plus-10 rating and 61 shots on goal (2.65 per game) in 23 contests.

Saad scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
He's now got three goals and seven points in the last seven games while chipping in 17 shots on goal and a plus-4 rating. Saad is on pace to shatter his previous career high in points (53, set last season), and has been a big part of the Blue Jackets' best start in franchise history.

Saad scored the Blue Jackets' lone goal in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
His goal midway through the third period salvaged a point for the Jackets, and Saad now has two goals and five points in his last five games. Columbus' new top line of Saad, Nick Foligno and Alex Wennberg has been giving the opposition fits with their speed and slick play, so expect the unit -- and Saad's recent surge -- to stick around for a while.

Saad scored a goal and added an assist during Friday's win over Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Still searching for his first power-play point of the season, Saad has done huge damage at even strength with five goals and 16 points over 19 games. Friday's tally snapped a seven-game goal drought, and because of Saad's lack of time with the man advantage, he could continue to be somewhat inconsistent offensively. Still, its difficult to argue with his excellent results to start the year, especially considering the 23-year-old winger has improved in the goals and points columns annually since his rookie year.

Saad picked up two assists in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
He was briefly in coach John Tortorella's doghouse recently, but Saad still has 11 points (four goals, seven assists), 17 shots on goals and a plus-5 rating in his last nine games. The Blue Jackets are suddenly an offensive juggernaut, scoring 21 goals in their last three home games, so there should be plenty of opportunities for Saad to stay hot going forward.

Saad collected a goal and an assist during Wednesday's win over Anaheim.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old winger had a five-game point-streak snapped last time out, so his multi-point showing Wednesday stands as a nice followup. Saad has now posted four goals and 10 points over 11 games. After improving his point total in each of the past three seasons, Saad has the potential for a career year given his strong start to 2016-17, especially since he's also just entering his offensive prime.

Saad earned an assist, tacking on four shots toward net and two PIM during Friday's 10-0 win against Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
Saad is cruising to start the year, notching three goals and five assists through nine contests. The 24-year-old is on a five-game point streak -- three tallies and four helpers in that span -- and looks every bit of the threat that scored 31 times last year. The 2011 second-round pick looks to be breaking out and should remain a staple in lineups.

Saad dished out two helpers in a 3-2 overtime win over Dallas on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After being held off the scoresheet for three straight contests, Saad is on a nice little rip with six points over a four-game point streak. On a team most considered to be underwhelming offensively heading into the season, it's hard to believe that Saad's seven points are actually fourth on the team behind Nick Foligno (nine), rookie defenseman Zach Werenski (eight) and Alexander Wennberg (eight). He's still arguably the biggest offensive threat (and most desirable fantasy commodity) on the Jackets, and as such, should challenge for the team lead in scoring all year long.
