Copp picked up two assists in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
It's his second multi-point game of the season. Copp has been an afterthought in the Jets offense for most of the season, scoring just four goals and 13 points through 43 games, but his ice time has increased with Mark Scheifele (upper body) on the shelf and Copp has parlayed the extra minutes into three points in his last two games. In deep season-long formats, he could be worth picking up.

Copp notched a pair of helpers in Sunday's 4-0 victory over the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
Copp has been on top of his game of late with four points in his previous six matchups, along with 12 hits and five blocks. The Jets' forward depth will likely prevent the natural center from earning a top-six role, but it also affords him the opportunity to provide some crucial scoring depth.

Copp scored the opening goal of Tuesday's matchup with Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Persistence paid off for Copp, as he picked up his own rebound off the pads of Antti Raanta and fired the puck blocker side into the back of the net. A slow start to the year -- one point in the first nine games -- seems to be behind the natural center who has notched three goals in his previous eight appearances. While the 2013 fourth-round pick is not going to win any scoring titles, he is on pace to have a career year -- including breaking through the 10-goal barrier for the first time.

Copp has garnered two goals and one helper in the opening 14 contests of the 2017-18 campaign.
EDGE Analysis
Copp -- who registered 17 points in 64 games in 2016-17 -- could fail to reach the 20-point mark for the third straight year. The natural center's 16.7 shooting percentage might indicate a decent start to the season, but overlooks the fact that he has just 12 shots on goal. The 23-year-old is comfortably set in a checking-line role and probably shouldn't be counted on for significant offensive contributions.

Copp (lower body) told reporters he "should be ready to go" for Wednesday's clash against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Copp's availability for Wednesday game was no doubt a factor in the team's decision to reassign Kyle Connor to the minors in order to be roster compliant. The 23-year-old Copp -- who tallied 17 points last season -- will likely force Shawn Matthias from the game-day lineup.

Copp (lower body) has not been ruled out for Wednesday's Opening Night tilt against the Maple Leafs, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Copp was injured in the preseason finale and was absent from practice Monday, but coach Paul Maurice didn't eliminate him from contention for the game-day lineup Wednesday. In the event the 23-year-old is unable to go, Nicolas Petan would likely move over to center with Brandon Tanev or Marko Dano sliding into the fourth-line winger role.

Copp suffered a lower-body injury on a blocked shot during Saturday's preseason finale against the Flames and he will not return, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Copp will now rest up ahead of Wednesday night's Opening Night contest against the Maple Leafs, though his exit Saturday could put his availability in question. More information on his status should arrive closer to the contest, but his placement among the club's bottom-six forwards leaves little to be desired from a fantasy standpoint.

Copp locked in a two-year deal with the Jets on Thursday worth an average annual value of $1 million, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Copp put up career highs in goals (9), assists (8) and shots on goal (77) during his sophomore campaign. The center has steadily improved, yet could struggle to crack the game-day lineup given the Jets' depth down the middle. The 23-year-old's ability to play on the penalty kill -- he averaged 1:27 of ice time shorthanded last season -- could improve his chance of suiting up consistently, but fantasy owners may want to wait to utilize him until he becomes a more permanent fixture.

Copp was extended a qualifying offer by the Jets on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
While Copp's productivity won't jump off the page -- nine goals and eight helpers -- he adds depth scoring that is worth a one-year deal at $874,125. The winger will have until July 15 to put pen to paper before salary arbitration would take place. Additionally, the two sides can continue negotiating a long-term deal, although it seems doubtful that Winnipeg would be willing to go much beyond $1 million AAV for a bottom-six role player.

Copp potted one goal in eight outings for the United States at the 2017 IIHF World Championship.
EDGE Analysis
Copp's lone tally was a game-winning goal, but the team was upset in the Quarterfinals and failed to make it into a medal game. Following a 17-point season, the 22-year-old could enter the market as he will be a restricted free agent this offseason. While the center has progressed -- four more points in 2016-17 than the year before despite playing in fewer contests -- and his contributions go beyond the scoresheet -- 1:27 of ice time per outing on the penalty kill -- he is unlikely to offer more than bottom-end fantasy value.
