The Jets lost three of the five games that Copp missed due to the ailment, but with the power forward back in the fold, team brass will hope that he flashes his two-way skills on the way to a victory. Copp has produced 14 points (eight goals, six assists) in 46 games this season while converting goals at an impressive clip (16.0 shooting percentage). Unfortunately, his bottom-six role gives him a low ceiling in the fantasy realm.

Copp will miss his fifth consecutive game Tuesday, but fantasy owners should be encouraged by the fact that he can fully participate. Considering the Jets' have two potential practice days following their meeting with the Wild, the winger could certainly be available against the Blues on Friday. Once the 22-year-old is given the green light, he figures to replace Chris Thorburn in the game-day lineup.

Mathieu Perreault is the leading candidate to fill in alongside Mark Scheifele and Patrik Laine on the Jets' second line with Copp sidelined.

Copp has lit the lamp in back-to-back games, and three of the past four outings. He has come alive lately, but still can only be trusted in deeper fantasy pools. Copp had a 15-game scoreless drought from Dec. 8 to Jan. 16 before his four-game spurt.

Copp scored a first-period goal, recorded three shots on net and threw two body checks during Monday's loss to Anaheim.

EDGE Analysis

The 22-year-old forward spent the majority of Monday's game lined up with Mark Scheifele and Nikolaj Ehlers, which is a cushy fantasy situation. While Copp is currently nothing more than a speculative grab in cavernous seasonal leagues or low-priced flier in daily contests, his role is promising.

Copp was recalled from the minors Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Copp has been coach Paul Maurice's go to player whenever the Jets have dealt with injuries this year, which has been often considering the 22-year-old has played in 28 games this year. The Austrian once again finds himself back in Winnipeg as a result of Marko Dano's (lower body) designation for injured reserve. Copp is bogged down in a 21-game goalless streak while firing 21 shots on goal over that span, but may have a chance to bring that drought to an end against the Islanders on Saturday.

Copp was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Copp filled in admirably early in the season with several banged up teammates, but a six-game pointless streak, combined with a healthy roster, has seen the center returned to the minors. The 22-year-old has shown flashes of talent this year, including a two-point outing against Dallas, yet needs more time to develop and should benefit by suiting up for the Moose.

Copp scored his first goal of the season Tuesday -- a shorthanded tally -- and complemented it with an assist in an 8-2 rout of the Stars.

EDGE Analysis

The Jets didn't need his two points in the third period, as they led 6-2 as it was, but they won't complain either. At 22, Copp remains a bit of an unknown quantity -- a solid scorer in college, he's shown nothing of the sort in pro hockey yet, but it's still early in his career. He saw much-increased ice time in this game (15:05) after failing to clear even 10 minutes in his first three since being recalled, but that may be due more to game flow than an increased role.
