Andrew Cogliano feels that his experiences in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga will help him when he returns to play in the NHL. "It really does humble you," said Cogliano. "I know when I go back I won't be taking much for granted. I can see myself playing even harder now (in the NHL) and make sure I'm fighting for my job every game because we have it really good back home. We do things in the NHL that guys here wouldn't even imagine." Some locked-out NHL players have gone through different and sometimes difficult circumstances overseas like travel, food and other cultural issues. However, they are grateful for the chance to play and stay in shape and for the most part that is why they are there in the first place. Cogliano has two goals and four assists in seven games with EC-KAC in Klagenfurt, Austria.

Andrew Cogliano has signed with Klagenfurter AC in Austria. Cogliano had 13 goals and 26 points in 82 games with the Anaheim Ducks last season. He was scheduled to make $2,350,000 with the Ducks in 2012-13 before the lockout started.

Andrew Cogliano played in his 400th consecutive game on Friday. The forward, who was acquired from the Oilers in the off-season has never missed a game in his young career. I just try to keep playing," Cogliano said. "That's the only thing I can really think of. Try to be someone that can do different things and be serviceable. In terms of injury-wise, I'm just trying to stay lucky. I guess I think that's the most important thing of what I've done. Knock on wood. It's always nice to play that many games. Keep going." He has 12 goals and 25 points this season, making him a fringe fantasy player at best in the deepest of pools.

Andrew Cogliano collected a natural hat trick in the second period of the Anaheim Ducks' 4-1 win against the Phoenix Coyotes. Cogliano's trio of tallies marks only the second time he scored a goal in January (the other one coming on Jan. 18) and just the third time he's found the net since Dec. 26. That should make it fairly obvious that his fantasy value is minimal overall.

Andrew Cogliano has been one of the few bright spots in the Ducks' disappointing season. The speedy former Oiler center has been converted to left wing and he has played well on the Ducks' second line alongside Saku Koivu and Teemu Selanne. Selanne in particular has seen a change in Cogliano the past month. I always say that speed kills. The defense] has to respect his speed even more. He's going to surprise a lot of people. His body language is totally different now. It takes time." Keep an eye on Cogliano. He may be worth rostering.

Andrew Cogliano potted two goals as the Anaheim Ducks' losing woes continued in a 5-3 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. On this night at least, Cogliano answered the call for some secondary scoring with the first and third of the night, but it wasn't enough. The tallies were just his third and fourth of the year. Corey Perry also found the back of net in the third period, on the power play, for his seventh of the season, but he was also a minus-3. Teemu Selanne assisted on both of Cogliano's markers, and continues to pace the Ducks with 18 points.

Andrew Cogliano scored his second of the season and added an assist in the Ducks 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks. It has been all down hill for Cogliano since his rookie season, but he is hoping to bounce back in his first season with the Ducks. A natural center, he is riding shotgun to Finnish vets Saku Koivu and Teemu Selanne. He is one of the fastest skaters in the NHL and plays well on both ends, but hopefully his offensive numbers pick back up. He'll never be a scoring star, but he has all the tools needed to be an above average second line player.

Andrew Cogliano lined up on the wing with veteran forwards Saku Koivu and Teemu Selanne in Tuesday's loss to Washington. He didn't get a point in the contest, but provided the combination with a boost of speed on the left side. Coach Randy Carlyle liked what he saw in the game from the trio, especially since Selanne broke out with two goals and two assists and Koivu notched a marker and a helper.

Although he has scored only one goal in six games, Andrew Cogliano is doing a nice job as the Ducks' third-line center. The Anaheim coaching staff seems pleased with his efforts to date. Of course, that doesn't mean Cogliano is draft worthy in shallow fantasy leagues.

Andrew Cogliano's first goal of the season was the only Ducks marker in regulation as Anaheim defeated the New York Rangers in a shootout by a score of 2-1 Saturday. Cogliano has received a second chance with the Ducks after failing to live up to expectation with the Oilers. Always a talented and durable player, 50 points isn't out of the realm of possibility with his new team.
