Anders Lindback allowed four goals on 23 shots as the Predators were beaten by Washington by a score of 4-1 Tuesday. It was only Lindback's fourth start of the campaign as typical starter Pekka Rinne took a well-deserved night off. His value in fantasy league is limited to being a handcuff for Rinne owners.

Anders Lindback showed some rust in allowing three goals on only 14 shots in the Nashville Predators' 3-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night. With Pekka Rinne the workhorse that he is, it was only Lindback's third start of the season. Regardless, it was a disappointing effort for the 23-year-old as his teammates pelted Ryan Miller with 34 shots. Lindback now has a 2-2-0 record, 2.52 goals-against average and .903 save percentage on the year.

Anders Lindback is projected to start on Saturday. Lindback was the first netminder to leave the ice Saturday morning and that's usually a good indication of who the starter will be. Lindback has only started in two games this season.

Look for Anders Lindback to get his first start of the season during the Predators upcoming three game road trip. Lindback has played only 40 minutes this season and that was in relief of Pekka Rinne earlier in the season. Lindback was in line to be the Predators top netminder as it appeared that Rinne was headed towards free agency, but Rinne's seven year contract extension this week, put a halt to that. "He is a top goaltender in this league, or he will be very shortly," coach Barry Trotz said. "I'm not worried about him. He has to worry about managing his game and trying to control what he can control."

Anders Lindback made 35 saves in Nashville's 3-2 win over the Jets on Friday. Lindback played great as he turned aside 35 of 37 shots through regulation and overtime. During regulation he allowed Andrew Ladd and Mark Scheifele to score goals. Nashville countered with goals by Cal O'Reilly and David Legwand. O'Reilly also added the shootout winner.
